best good neighbour hotel with breakfast?

We've booked HOJO (never been there yet) but really like hotels with breakfast. We're a family of 5 and like to be close by and willing to change our res if there is a comparable hotel including breakfast. Since we only the the ER for 3 nights, our average price is $102 a night (+cot) so we're willing to pay up to $125 if there is a brekky included.

Any fans with suggestions?

Candy Cane Inn!

To be fair...this is the only off-site motel I've stayed at that provided any type of breakfast! It is a perk to have a small breakfast available right there at the hotel that's included! We just returned from our second stay at CCI in August--we are planning on staying here again in October. We paid $102 (AAA rate) per night.

They provide a nice assortment of fresh fruit, breads, bagels, donuts, pastries, etc.. Also had a few kinds of cold cereals. We always were able to find a table out by the pool to sit at--very peaceful way to start the morning.

They are within walking distance and also provide a air conditioned shuttle just for their own guests--very nice!

My friends have stayed at the Embassy Suites further down Harbor (I think Embassy Suites-South). They enjoyed the breakfast there too--I think it might be more per night to stay there and its farther away from Disneyland.

Hope this helps!

The Park Vue has a free breakfast.....its right at the crosswalk on Harbor, across from the Disneyland tram loading area. Its not a hot breakfast, but they have coffee, tea, oj, cold cereals, toast, waffles, fruit, bagels, donuts, etc. Its enough so we can make it to an early lunch in the park....

Our room rates for Dec are $91/night.

Walking distance, best free breakfast is CCI and they have a FREE exclusive shuttle so you don't have to walk. You could, the distance is about the same as the HoJo but why walk if you can take a free shuttle?
BWPPI & Tropicana both have free breakfast and are directly across the street from the parks but CCI's breakfast is much much better!

We've had fun DLR/DCA, we will miss you while we are gone. We took 14 trips from July 07-July 08 and around 16 from Jan 09-Jan 10.

I'm glad this was posted. I was curious about this as well. Even though I have my next two trips planned already.

Both Desert Inn and the Ramada Inn Main Gate have continental Breakfasts. They are like what everyone else has mentioned. Toast, cereal, some fruit etc. For a REALLY nice breakfast you can stay at the Embassy Suites as a PP mentioned. You get a full on hot breakfast with pancakes, waffles, cooked to order omlettes, etc. It is a REALLY nice hotel but it is farther down and you would need to use the ART shuttle. Not sure on the prices either. Haven't stayed there since 06 and we prefer to be right across the street.

Also, wanted to add that the rooms were very clean and the beds were VERY comfy!

The landscaping is very pretty as well...

motel with breakfast

I would recommend the Hampton Inn (a sister co of the Hilton I believe). They are 1 mile from Disney, but you could either take the ART shuttle or they have a shuttle for $4 I believe from the motel. They are $200 cheaper for our time that we are staying in November, then the Candy Cane Inn! And they have a hot breakfast, which includes, waffles, sausage, etc. I would like to try the CCI sometime, but with it this much cheaper AND a FREE meal we are going to try the Hampton. We stayed there twice before years ago when it was under a different name. Have fun!

Here's another vote for CCI. The breakfast is great. Nothing deluxe but really nice for that sort of breakfast. We also like having the option of using the shuttle or walking. We would take the shuttle when we wanted to come or go close to the time the shuttle was going but if not, we would just walk.

This might be a further away then you like but I LOVE the Radisson in Buena Park. They have a free shuttle that will take you to Disney whenever you want and pick you up as soon as you call them. It is GREAT. Apart from the distance, I swear it has the best breakfast. Waffles, bagels, Bacon, eggs, cereal- you name it. The suites are comtemporary in style and have very comfy beds. If only it were closer to DL... it would be the perfect hotel!
