If you can't make your wishes dessert party

I just booked a Dessert Party for 9/14. I asked the CM what would happen if I wanted to give it away. She checked with her supervisor and was told you could give it away, no need to have the original bookers credit card. Have the Conf# and last name and you're good to go. As with any info get verification if you are considering this.

The only issue might be that if the person you give it away to does not show, then the original credit card will be charged?

Absolutely! I should have been more clear. I meant give the dessert party away as in a gift. I have friends that work in administration and I try to treat them to something every time we go down. If I were to give the ADR away I would probably let it stay on my card and ask to be reembursed by whoever I gave it to, or in this case sold it to. Any time I give my card number to WDW, or any vendor, I assume the more I have to explain, the worse a situation might get. I've never had a problem with WDW but we've all heard some nasty stories.

...whoops. LOL does look like I'm the generous one doesn't it. Maybe I'll stick to just treating the 5 of them to the party.

well, instead of giving it away and waiting to be reimbursed, it has a 24 hr cancelation policy. You can cancel at least 24 hrs prior to your time to be there and any time between then and now.
