DVC Resort Academy Awards – Category: Best Secluded/Quiet/Relaxing Resort

Vote for the DVC resort(s) which, in your personal opinion, should win in the category of “Best Secluded/Quiet/Relaxing Resort”.

I have excluded the two offsite DVC resorts from consideration in this poll. I would suggest voting for your top one to three choices in this category, and then optionally adding a reply outlining your vote and the reason(s) behind your vote.

As owners at OKW there is nothing like after a busy day in the parks coming back to OKW and the laid-back, quiet atmosphere!

I voted for VWL, because of the beautiful lake/forest setting and those fabulous sitting rooms.

OKW for relaxing and secluded.

SSR for quiet, we have stayed at every Disney resort including all the DVCs ones many times and without a doubt these villas are the best built for being quiet. You never even know you have neighbors.

VWL would be the third choice, due to the main lobby more so than the villas themselves. In fact the decor at VWL is my least favorite; but I love, love Wilderness Lodge. I hope they change the decor at some point at VWL to something more similar to the lodge rooms.

I voted for VWL. There's nothing like coming home to the amazing VWL after a crazy day at the parks.

Okw...

was the only choice for me here. Love that laid back, no rush to do anything feeling you get when you drive thru that welcome home depot.

OKW is quiet and secluded, away from everything.

VWL has the secluded feel of a wilderness lodge on a lake.

AKV has a great feeling of being far away in Africa.

I'm happy to dance with you
I have 2 opinions
We had tried usual things to keep them away, including something like coyote urine, it is sold in hardware stores by us

VWL I can always find a nook or cranny to relax in. Then you throw in a fireplace or rocking chair and it's heavenly!

You can beat OKW for seclusion(getting away from "Disney") and relaxation. This resort oozes relaxation.

OKW of course my all time favorite resort. Lanscaping, water way, patio/balcony views, I wish I were there now!

AKV, I've grown to love, getting past the darker decor. Haven't stayed at Kidani yet but it seems to have a slightly lighter decor and I will prefer it to teh Lodge type of accomodations.

SSR I didn't vote for because in the area OKW is the only one for me.

I voted SSR. The poll topic seems to be an exact description of our Treehouse stay.
