Any info on jack and sally in the parks in oct for pics and autographs?

Also wanted to know if they are going to have woddys round up where you can buy a cookie and decorate it?

I wish JAck and Sally would have been around for the Christmas holidays. We were there the weekend before Thanksgiving. DD and DH loves Nightmare before Christmas and looked for them the entire trip.
We also like to decorate the holiday cookies and I was just thinking about that yesterday

We were there last year in oct and jack and sally were out and about we got pics and autographs my daughter loves that show.

This is from the DL website regarding the 2009 holiday season:
"Meet real reindeer and participate in countrified holiday fun at Santa's Reindeer Roundup in Frontierland."
Doesn't mention anything about cookies though. Hopefully they have them again!

I too am hoping for jack and sally. I would really hope that at least jack will be around since he is the "emcee" for the halloween fireworks. It would make sense to have him appear in the park,

We're going Oct 10-13 for my 40th birthday.

Your question made me sit up and say "ooh, now that would be cool", b/c I have two NBC fans in my house (and it's growing on me, too), who would just be enraptured to meet them. They also love characters while I do not...you can see why you never see ME in pictures with characters, b/c they are the ones who enjoy it (and I don't let others touch my camera).

Oh I HOPE they are out...we would wait a long time to meet Jack & Sally....DD9 LOVES Jack & NBC. We saw a preview for Tim Burton's new movie 9 last night, she said "Mom, I HAVE to see that, it's a Burton and I just LOOOOOOOOOOVE him!" LOL It hadn't even gotten to the part where it says "from Director Tim Burton" either, she just knew from earlier commercials I guess. LOL

Wasn't there some issue (I think with copyrights?) last year and Jack and Sally disappeared from the parks for a while until this was solved?

Their last day in the parks was definitely the last day of Halloween Time, that would be November 1 this year.

We saw them last year in October....in NO Square coming down a walkway on the back left side of the Haunted Mansion! It was earlier in the day....before noon I think.

I've heard of that issue with Giselle's character, but not for J&S. I think they're just rare characters.

We went for 3 days, so the 8th-10th...cant remember what days of the week that was. It seems like we saw them either the first or second day we were there.

I know that J&S were there through the whole "Halloween Season" last year as we saw them at the beginning and the weekend after the 31st, because we went to the park on the first days of November and saw them. I know the characters were insanely popular and when ever we saw them out they were mobbed by the crowds. I hope they extend their stay through both the Halloween and Christmas season as I think what they did with them last year was great.

LOL __________________ Kerri DBF DD13 DD9 APs expired 1-3-2010, the girls are still good until 2-6-2010 but we have no plans for a visit before they expire. No plans for our next visit, it will be 2011 or 2012 before we head back. We've had fun DLR/DCA, we will miss you while we are gone. We took 14 trips from July 07-July 08 and around 16 from Jan 09-Jan 10.
