How long has Disney had the visa rewards? - The DIS Discussion Forums

I can't decide wether or not I want to cash in the rewards for this trip or maybe wait (they don't expire till 2014) so maybe just keep earning them towards a future trip. I have $50 worth as of now, which isn't much but I just got the card in March.

So with all the credit card issues nowadays I just wonder if disney (or chase) will decide to get rid of doing the rewards? How long has disney been doing the rewards?

I'm not sure...but my card says "Charter Cardmember since 2003" and I think it was fairly new at that point....so I'm guessing 2002-2003.

I think I've had my card for 5 or 6 years maybe and they've been doing the disney dollar rewards since. I haven't had any problems yet. If you want to save up, I doubt they would just take the away without any notice. I'm sure if they did decide to just stop giving out the rewards, they would warn everyone first and you could cash in your rewards then.
