Boma Thanksgiving Day 10:30a/10:55a is breakfast, not lunch right?
Our extended family will be at AKL Villas Kidani the week of Thanksgiving. My sister called group dining before the 90 day window since I told her we check in on Nov 22 so we should be able to book before 90 days. They told her to call back exactly at 90 days. Is the booking window different for large groups? She was able to book on-line for Boma under 2 separate reservations for a party of 8 and a party of 5. The times were for 10:30 and 10:55a but I was relieved thinking we at least have a place to eat if we choose not to cater/cook our Thanksgiving meal in our villa. I suggested that she call group dining and try to get them to associate the 2 reservations but if they can't, we will just show up as 2 parties and try to be seated close together. Then I was trying to book some other late breakfast reservations and realized that those times are for breakfast, not lunch, right? We were hoping for an early lunch time to free up the day to do other things. I think when she originally called she was told that Boma does not serve lunch but that is for normal days, not holidays, right? I would think due to popularity they would open up lunch hours on Thanksgiving and Christmas. If they are serving lunch after our breakfast seating time I figure we are OK since they generally do not chase you off and invite you to eat of the lunch buffet as well. But if Boma only serves breakfast and dinner Thanksgiving day we are in need of Thanksgiving lunch/dinner reservations.....
Has anyone been to Bomas for a late breakfast on Thanksgiving and is so, were you able to eat off the lunch buffet? |

bump also looking at Boma for Thanksgiving
We are also looking at Boma for Thanksgiving or Friday. We are coming in off the cruise Wednesday and are not checking in on property until Thanksgiving. It didn't occur to me to use my cruise reservation as possibly allowing me to book dining sooner.
We have been looking forward to dining at Boma for 5 years, but I saw some posts that Thanksgiving is particullary crowded and the food was cold and restaurant noisy. Is Friday any better? |

See Rusty's post above. Boma doesn't serve lunch, and there's no information that they're going to be serving lunch on holidays. Your reservation is for breakfast.
