Question re: revised AK hours this week - The DIS Discussion Forums

From the DIS page on Theme Parks: "Aug. 23-31, 2009 most locations in Africa and Asia will stay open until 7 PM. Two additional shows have been added. 5:15 PM for Flights of Wonder and 6 PM for Finding Nemo- The Musical. Some locations in Discovery Island and the Oasis will be open. Island Mercantile, Package Pick- Up, Baby Care and Garden Gate Gifts. Camp Minnie-Mickey, DinoLand, Rafiki's Planet watch will close at 5 PM."

Has anyone been to AK and know what "most locations" do stay open until 7:00 p.m.? Is Nemo the only one that has a later show, or does Lion King also? I guess I'm wondering if there's enough open to do a few hour trip there on the 27th after we spend our morning at Epcot (and some time back at CBR in the pool in the early afternoon). Thanks!

According to http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/, the last show of Lion King this week is 4:30 (except for evening EMH on Saturday which will also have a 6:00 show). Lion King is at Camp Minnie-Mickey, so that's consistent with the announcement that Camp Minnie-Mickey will close at 5:00 pm.

The Africa and Asia attractions include the Safari, the two jungle walks, Expedition Everest, and Kali River Rapids, and if I were you, I would probably call WDW to inquire as to which of these are open until 7:00.
