Question Resort pool - bathing suit coverups - ever decorate?

I am not fat and not skinny - a somewhere in-between 50 year old DW.

Walking to the resort pool in a bathing siut for me would not be a good idea.

I found a great white cover-up from LandsEnd on sale.

I was thinking of dying the white coverup yellow with Mickey head circles formed from rubber bands. I could also dye the Mickey head circles red with dye spray - like abstract art.

Do you think that would be a good idea ?
Or do you think I am being a bit too much Mickey-themeing ?

The cover up I bought for only $12.99 from LandsEnd:

Thanks for any comments before I start my abstract art Mickey dying project

You should do what makes you happy!!!!
I have a plain white coverup that I will be wearing to and from the pool. That is what I am comfortable in
Have a Great Trip

If you'd enjoy doing that, go for it. Disney themed clothing is not out of place at DW. Who cares what anyone else thinks anyway? I got a pink long sleeved, hooded cover up from Land's End earlier in the season and LOVE it.

Have a terrific trip.

Wink I did it !

I did it. No digital camera to show it off - but the yellow dye was a golden yellow - more Mickey color. The white circles worked well (back side, bottom and sides - top front area just golden yellow - I don't want to attract anyone to my top front area).....

I could not wait to use the red dye spray - so I sprayed away.
The insides of the circles now look a bit orange (red & yellow mixed ) -
and there are some many circles I did - the Mickey head shapes are all close together - so I guess I sort of created hidden Mickeys

I think it will still be fun to wear as a cover up at WDW and it was a fun project on a hot NY day. I hung the dyed coverup to dry on a hanger, on a tree branch, as we swam in our pool. It was cool to see it from a distance - I think it looks OK.

Thanks for the encoragement for my not so talented artistry
