Family favorite things at WDW in the RAIN ?

Only days to go...and seeing sights for rain in the forcast.

What r some suggestions for a family of 4 with two little ones (6 and 1) to do in the rain?

As much as possible, I would like to keep the littlest one dry...

Personally, I like to wear quick drying light clothing so that I can go out in the rain. Most of the indoor attractions are usually SWAMPED when it rains so if you don't mind getting wet... wait times are minimal during and right after it rains.

Do you have a rain cover for the one year old's stroller? I've seen a lot of those around Disney. We pretty much just keep going rain or shine. If you are at Epcot, Innoventions can be fun but expect it to be mobbed with people just like you trying to get out of the rain!

Rain covers for stroller...good idea !

I don't have one, I have just relied on the strollers overhead cover in the past. I wonder if it gets all sweaty in there? I HATE the ponchos for the same reason! Too hot under there!!

: )

We just put on Ponchos and have at it. If you are in the MK-ride the TTA (if it's open) then you are kinda sorta outside but covered. Exhibition Hall seems like a good place that would absorb some people and there is a room that plays cartoons which would be good for the kids. You could also get on line to meet Mickey, it will take so long to get there, but you'll be dry while you wait.

The stroller covers are not bad, you can get ones with ventilated sides.

One of the best MK touring days we ever had was in 2008 during Fay. It was raining but there were NO wait times for anything. The kids and I wore ponchos but DH didn't and we were all fine.

I agree! One of our best days was during whatever hurricane came the same week at the 9/11 tragedy. Put on our ponchos and had a great time!

Slap on an overpriced WDW poncho and hit it.

OK that's the easy answer, but with a little one it's difficult. Shopping during the hard rains always works. We also once went into Ellen's Energy Adventure (or whatever they're calling it now) when it started to rain and by the time we came out it was no longer raining.

So you were the other family there that day! We even got on Astro Orbiter something we had never been able to do in years of going to Disney!

MK is great in the rain everything is close together and you run between an then get inside for a bit.

my little guy actually loved the rain the most, I quit trying to keep him dry. Just take dry clothes and shoes for him for when it stops.

go to DAK.

The best safari ride we ever had was during a downpour. All the extra running water enhances the theming and the animals seemed to enjoy the rain.
