Dining Reservations and Tickets

We will be in Paris in early Nov and wil be taking a daytip to DLP on Nov 10. We would like to eat Dinner at Cafe Mickey after the we leave the park that night. Is it neccessary to make reservations early(months in advance) like at WDW or can I make them at DLP when we arrive? It would be great if could wait then I would not have to make a long distance international call(I'm from the US).

Also is it wise to buy our tickets before we get there (like at the Disney Store on the Champs-Elysees or online)? To avoid the line. Or just show up early and wait in line. Are they any cheaper buying them early?

Thanks in advance. Sorry if these are dumb questions.

I dont think they are cheaper if you get them before but it will save you queuing when you get there

You dont have to book restaurants months in advance but you may find it is very busy especially after the parks close as Cafe Mickey is very popular. Therefore it might be worth booking beforehand even if you phone from Paris

as far as the restaurants are concerned, i've never had a problem going to the restaurant in question (Blue Lagoon, Silver Spur etc.) and making a morning booking for lunch the same day. have never tried booking for evening meals in this way though.

the line for tickets in the morning can be a pain (i remember one time at christmas in particular). if you can get those in advance it may save you some grief.

I would say definately buy tickets and reserve table before you get there however you may be able to reserve your table on your first day for your last day. Cafe Mickey always has big queues and if you've reserved you get in quicker.

I too would buyu in advance as I dont like to waste ANY time that could be spent in the parks

If by tickets you mean park tickets its cheaper online on their website, 15% cheaper if you opt for discovery ticket

Thanks everybody. I think I will but my tickets early. I had plan to buy the tickets from the Disney Store on the Champs-Elysees because I know this is one of the places we will be near in Paris. It was my understanding (correct me if I am wrong) that the discovery ticket could not be bought by Americans. I don't see it on the US verison of the website.

We arrive in Nov 3 in Paris so I will probably make my dining reservation then. That would be a week ahead of time. I am so use to WDW where if you want a hard to get reservation you have to book really early.

Thanks again!!!
