Usind Disney transportation, how to get from AK to Mickey's Backyard BBQ? - The DIS Discussion Forums

We have never stayed onsite before, so we have always had a car and driven where we want to go so I am not familiar with the Disney bus system.

I need to know the best/easiest way to get from AK to Fort Wilderness for Mickey's Backyard BBQ.

Are there buses that go direct? Or will we need to go through a park and switch buses, etc.

Are there any web pages out there we these type of things listed - along with length of time to travel on buses from different resorts to different parks (all estimates obviously).

There are buses to all resorts from all parks
Bus from AK to FW- then you'll take an internal FW bus to the BBQ location-so be sure to allow enough time for that
