Weds 15 April
It was such a lovely bright day I couldn’t resist snapping away like a lunatic – so lots and lots of pictures today.
We were up early once again ready for EMH. Small World and family were on the same bus going into the Parks and we were queuing up together when Scampbunny and her boys came over to join us. We had a ‘Dismeet while walking down Main St’ – the very best sort of meet.

We headed off to Discoveryland, ready to do battle with Zurg, now that we had some good scoring tips from Mr Small World. We went on twice and won 1 round each. SM was not working so we went over to Fantasyland. Once again Snow White and Pinocchio remained stubbornly closed so we queued for a while for Peter Pan and then decided to go over to Studios for rope-drop. A few pictures got snapped first.

Yay - the hat is back!

Dtr sped off as soon as possible so she was not too far from the front of the queue.

At 10 o’clock the CM led the queue into the Crush building itself and I wandered off to get FPs for TOT.

I decided to photograph the queue for Crush – bear in mind the queue was all the way inside the building as well – the end of it was a long long long way off!

I did a little shopping and took a few more snaps in the shop - this one in particular for 'our chaps' back home - they so often have this problem!

at 10.15 met up with Dtr as she was already off Crush. There was a very short queue to see Buzz so we joined that

then went off to watch the Good Morning Studios mini-parade. Dtr managed to see Lilo & Stitch for autographs and then it was time for our TOT FPs. The FP wait here was minimal and in no time at all Dtr was entering the Quatrieme Dimension.

We decided to have an early lunch in Restaurant en Coulisse. I sent Dtr to get a table and she chose one in the farthest corner of …..the world it seemed. I just had to photograph it!

That tiny dot in the distance is Dtr.

We went out to watch the HSM show one more time then caught the bus back to the Hotel.

I like to see TOT and Earful Tower from different angles.

We went for a swim in the pool – which we had to ourselves and then went up for a rest.

When we got back to the Park the Parade was just taking place so we skirted around the edge to where Casey Jr and LPDCDF were……closed once again. Hmmmmmmmm.

We wandered over to POTC instead and took this in the shop after the ride

then collected FPs for Indiana Jones. We went to Phantom Manor and were unlucky enough to be in a lift with some teens who not only screamed and yelled when the lights went out (quite common, I know) but were pushing and shoving each other, which sent a few people stumbling around.

When the lights came back on there were 2 families with children crying so much they had to be taken back up in the lift to exit without riding. Shame. It may have been better if the inconsiderate teens were taken out.

After Pm we went back to use our Indiana Jones FPs. We had about an hour left and I really wanted to go on Pinocchio, but the queue was still really really long – almost to the door. If only we could have gone on during EMH! The rest of the Park seemed quiet

So we used the hour to ride Snow White, IASW, POTC and then finally ……..no Pinocchio still busy, so Snow White to finish off.

Just as we were about to walk through the Castle on the way out we felt the first drops of rain of the holiday. There seemed to be a bunch of people blocking the entrance to the Castle (Main Street side) and then I saw why – they were all taking this photo.

Fortunately by the time we reached the exit to the Park it had already stopped raining.

We had a meal booked for 8.30 at the Steakhouse – supposed to be the ‘last-night blow-out’ but as we approached the maitre d’ desk I saw a sign that said they had a problem with their machines and could not accept MasterCard. I have 2 credit cards – both MasterCard. Ulp. My debit card is a Visa, but that was back in the Hotel safe, as I only take that for emergencies. That meant I had no way of getting cash out without going back to the hotel. I quickly counted the Euros I had on me – 61. I worked out that would be just enough for an adult and a child’s meal if I didn’t go overboard on my choices. It was hardly the ‘blow-out’ we had planned but these things happen. As it went, the service was so excruciatingly slow that I could not have borne to have waited for a dessert anyway. I will have to review that on the right thread some time.

Anyway we were out of there just after half past ten and did some more shopping in the Disney Store. I know, I know, we seem to do an awful lot of shopping, but we like it, okay! We like to do our shopping in lots of small trips, whereas when we go on trips with Husband, he thinks really that no shopping should be done at all, but if you MUST shop, you do it all in one go at the end of the holiday. No fun in that!
Anyway, eventually we got back to the hotel for our last night there.

you not only met up with the Small World family but the Scampbunny one too!!

We like to do our shopping in lots of little goes too ~ we learned the hard way if we don't buy something when we first see it, either it sells out or we forget which shop it was in!

that brought back memories then..... remember that picture - i did have my boys with me honest!!! they were just way up front running whilst i was getting my buzz info - priorities!!

love the picture tho - def a highlight meeting such fab disers..... one day hope to meet more of u!!
