UGH!!!!

I'm currently in process of trying to find some summer clothes for my newly trimmed down self (26 pounds lighter!!

) and none of my summer clothes fit, and i'm certainly not going to be going around Disney with shorts that i have to hold up.

So, i go to both of the malls in my area. I need some shorts/capris, and a bathing suit top. i'm not picky, it just needs to be my size (8-10) and not a horrible color (i perfer black, tan or white for my shorts capris)

Nothing. anything that is left is a size 0 or 1 and is puke green. However, if i wanted jeans and a parka, well, they're just everywhere

It's AUGUST for pete's sake!! I know i live in NY but COME ON. I find it absurd that the bathing suits that are on clearance are 2 feet away from heavy winter jackets!!

I've tried Oldnavy.com, gap.com, NYandCo.com, JCpenneys, macys. Victoria secret has some shirts and a bathing suit, but nothing i was terribly into for shorts.

HELP!! any recomendations for websites or stores i may not have thought of?? i'm roasting in my jeans!!

this happened to me in May!! Althou it was spring in my neck of the woods. I put on my shorts and they fell right off me!! so I knwo that feeling!
try somewhere like Macys I was just there this weekend and there is still plenty of summer things out.
you can also google summer clothes and find something. also llbean.com check clearance etc!!

It is a great reason to need clothes!

WOO HOO! I've lost about the same amount of weight since April. Fortunately, I had lost of clothes from when I was my current size, though I did buy more jeans.

I had been hoping to lose some of my bosom, but that doesn't seem to be happening.

I had the same problem this year. I knew I was desperate when I tried on orange shorts at Kohls. I live close to you (Albany) and I had some luck at Kmart. Also, keep checking Kohls.com-their inventory goes in and out by the day. Do you have a Peter Harris near you? I've found some things there too. Also, Marshall's and TJ Maxx. Unfortunately, shorts are all on clearance so it is very hit or miss and you'll have to pick through the clearance racks.

Try Macy's. Great sales and good inventory up to 3 days ago when I was there. Wish I had the money at the time!

Yea, it stinks to high heaven. My suggestion is to shop when you get to FL.

If you need shorts NOW, go to a sporting goods store. You can always get the soffees or sports shorts all yr. long.
