Thumbs up Our new park tradition

We just got back from a 10 day stay at WDW and started a new tradition this year. When we left the park mid-day, we'd stop at a FP machine on our way out of the park to get a set of FPs and then we'd give the FPs to a family who was on their way into the park. It was an easy and fun way to spread a little pixie dust!

That is so awesome of you. We did that at DLR just because we were leaving and weren't going to use them. I think that we are going to do the same thing that you did. It is a great way to spread pixie dust to someone else.

That's so great! We give away unused FPs too! Also, when we check out we try to find someone checking in to give them our Arcade Cards (from the resort) as well as any leftover (unopened of course) grocery delivery stuff, like bottled water, sodas, granola bars.

I'm with you, I think that if more people did things like this and thought of others more often this just may be a better world.

I love this idea too! I'm jumping on the bandwagon...sooo simple yet such a wonderful "treat" to give a family coming into the parks!

My tradition is to write checks for $25,000 and give them away around the parks!

That is such a great idea! I am also a firm beleiver in Karma and if you are leaving the park and had a great day why not spread that Pixie Dust around to others who are just coming in.

I started giving away FP's a few years ago when I knew that I was not going to be using them why not let someone else experience the ride and in a quicker way!

Every time it feels AWESOME! I usually go to that ride and see who is looking for a FP and give it to them. I had an extra Toy Story Mania - I know crazy but we did it was 6 FP's and we gave it to 2 different families they were stoked!

Good begets Good in my book!

That's a great tradition to have! We've never thought about doing that, but I'm going to try to start making a habit of it. Especially since we usually take a midday break. I can get FP's before we head out and someone can take advantage then, and by the time we go back to the park we can FP again!

We have given out extra FP's that we had (when my boys chicken out on rides)

We did this on our last day at Disneyland, we were leaving at 11.00 for a meal and then off to the airport. There was a family walking past Buzz Lightyear ride as we were so I asked them if I could get them some fastpasses, they were really happy.

It was a nice way to finish off the day.

Our timeshare (Worldmark) has a donation box in the lobby for such items to go to the food bank. Maybe we can suggest it to Disney? I always have a few unopened shelf-stable items to add.
