No HDR here. I just intentionally overexposed when I shot it to bring out the sky, stars, and the colors in the tree. It had the unintended consequence of blowing out the bottom of the tree a bit, but I think that's minor. I really had one heck of a time getting this shot in the first place... |

Sadly we are back. And sadly, I had to send the lens back to lensrental.com today.
![]() The tokina is a lot of fun to shoot with. You can get right up on stuff. It has more vision than my eyes. I shot the first couple of days with it solely. Here are my initial uploaded sets. http://www.flickr.com/photos/eknif/s...7622532855950/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/eknif/s...7622408339075/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/eknif/s...7622408224863/ And a couple of examples. ![]() ![]()

Don't you steal my idea now!!! I honestly was thinking the same thing, that I would shoot HalloWishes standing behind Walt facing the castle and using the Tokina. I guess we'll find out!

Great examples all. Here are a few I finally got processed with my new Sigma 12-24. Debating if I should take it back for Sunday night- it is a lot of fun to use.

They're all fantastic, Jeff. Whether it's the Sigma/D700 combo, you as the photographer or a program you use to process these---they're amazing. I especially love the shot of Minnie's house---I don't often see people posting night pics of Toon Town.

Thanks for all the "SUPER" shots and great ideas of how to use/shoot the WA everyone !!
![]() Jeff...are your "to die for" shots Topaz or HDR?? I don't have any post-processing software except picassa. Is Topaz/HDR a stand alone system or a plug in for PS? Sure wish I did..maybe when I get back. BTW..Can't believe Minnie's house is coming down...How SAD !!! ![]() Well...didn't get too much practice in during these past 2 weeks, but, my 11-16 is on the camera and ready for Wednesday's arrival at WDW. Hope I'll remember much of what you all have taught me here. Wish me luck!
