I don't know where to begin. I have never been to disney before and the CRS that I'm staying at loooks huge. It me,dh, and 4 yr old dd. We are doing the QSDP so we will have a resort only mug....My first question is do they have drink fountain everywhere or is it just in the main building??? And if its in the main building I would like to be near that....so where should I request a room at?? I don't really want to be RIGHT THERE at the building...but a good comfortable walking distance would be nice....So with all that in mind...WHERE IS THE BEST LOCATION??? TIA!!!!!!

DH and I (both over 50) always stay in Casitas 4 or 5...it takes me every morning about six minutes to walk to the main building to get our coffee in the morning; last year we were in Casitas 3 and it was literally less than two minutes to walk to the main building. Also, one of the Cabanas is not too far a walk to the main building either. As TooBoyz4Us mentioned, check out the CSR FAQ Thread as there is a lot of useful information there. And any other questions, feel free to ask...there is always someone who will have an answer for you.

Like Kat Mark said Casitas is a great location, not only are you fairly close the main building but also bus stop #2 which is the 1st bus stop on route to the parks meaning you won't have to stand.

Thankyou I think I'm just going to request Casitas or Cabanas...seems like either of those would work for our family.

No problem, Casitas and Cabanas are two more popular requests. I don't hear anyone requesting Ranhos but Ranchos does have it's fair share of fans who like the landscaping in that area. Whatever you end up with I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I loved our stays in the Cabanas section 9b (before it was business suites). We stayed in Casitas but didn't care for it. I would request 9a 8b. I think 9b is now suites.
