Sweetheart Dinner at Flying Fish
Has anyone done this? Booked it as a surprise for DH to celebrate our wedding anniversary (well, the day after since we are attending PFTS on our actual anniversary) and was wondering what to expect... TIA

I have never done it but have questions too. What is the sweetheart dinner and how much does it cost? My DH and I are going in October for our 10th anniversary. Do all restaurants offer it? thanks!

From allears.net:
* Disney’s three-course, prix fixe Sweetheart Dinner for Two is the perfect way to create a memorable evening, ending with a shared dessert. Dinners include a specially selected beverage in a souvenir toasting glass to commemorate a special moment and are available at all Walt Disney World signature restaurants except Victoria & Albert’s. |

I would call and ask Disney Dining. When I had called to make my ressies, the CM was having a problem booking the time I wanted for Flying Fish, she said the system kept trying to book the Sweetheart Dinner. I asked her what it was all about and she pretty much said the same thing that I posted above. Figured it would be a nice surprise for DH

Sounds awesome. Thanks! Do you have to reserve it ahead of time? We already have an ADR at a signature, just didn't specify the sweetheart dinner.

I am going to say yes only because when I tried to book a standard ressie, the CM kept saying it was trying to book the Sweetheart Dinner. Maybe because of the toasting glasses (which I was told you get to keep) and the menus... She asked if/what we were celebrating and put that on the reservation as well....
