Buena Vista Palace & spa or Regal Sun for 2 nights?

Which of these two would you choose for 2 nights in November and why?

My main objective is to be close enough to DTD to walk there. I have both of these reserved right now and am having a hard time choosing which one. Both are reserved with DTD views. Regal Sun is $72/night, and BVP&S is $89/night and includes the breakfast buffet.

I have heard some good things about Buena Vista and some not so good things about the Regal Sun. I too am debating where to stay on a short trip down there in November.

I got an email this morning with a $59 rate at Regal Sun...book by Aug 31 with travel dates 8/18 to 12/19, kids eat free...I'm not sure if you need the email link or not. It's through bookit.com. Never been there myself but a cheaper rate may sway your decision.

I think the BV Palace is a higher rated hotel. Does the Palace come with the free breakfast buffet? If so the price difference is probably a wash.

I have stayed in the BV palace and did so based upon reviews when comparing the two. I very much enjoyed my stay at the BV palace. It was very clean and the rooms were great. I had a tower room facing Epcot. I absolutely would stay there again.

Thanks for your replies.
Buena Vista does include the buffet breakfast. I found another offer for Royal Plaza for $69/night for a deluxe tower room. But with that one being the farthest away from DTD I think I might stick with what I have. We have a rental car, but I away hate trying to find a parking spot at DTD. That weekend is Festival of the Masters too, so I know it would be a challenge to find a spot.

Did you look into the prices at the Hilton? We just came back from there and it was truly right accross the street from downtown disney. less then a five minute walk.
