Best place in MK for dinner before MNSSHP?
We had dinner before we went to MVMCP several years ago at the Crystal Palace. This year we are doing MNSSHP and are looking for suggestions for a good dinner prior to the party in the MK. The buffet at the Crystal Palace was OK, but not great. I think breakfast there is better. Any suggestions for somewhere else would be appreciated. Thanks!

We picked CP at 445 for 9/29; primarily because at the time I couldn't get Wave reservations, plus we wanted to get in the park as early as we could. Cant say any dining options at MK are standouts IMO.
Good Luck! I would try Wave at CR. |

We're going to go to the Plaza at 5:30p. I didn't want anything too elaborate but didn't want to fight through CS crowds for a table etc. either.

Were going to the Plaza on 9/4 @ 5:30. They have great sandwhiches. Were not using r TB service for this. If u don't want to do that then I suggest checking out the Wave in the CR.

Liberty Tree Tavern has the best ambience for MNSSHP, IMO. It was better when they had the character dinner with all the characters in their costumes.

Unfortunately, it's kind of late in the game to make PS ressies, you'll probably have slim pickings. Me and DH are going to Cpt Cooks at the Poly and then catching the monorail to the Magic Kingdom. Hubby loves the Aloha Pork Sandwich.
Bet Chef Mickey's would be a good place to go too, especially if you're dressing up...fun atmosphere, then jump on the Monorail.

We have a 5pm ADR for Chef Mickey's. I only got that reservation a week ago, and we are going to the 9/4 MNSSHP, so keep looking if you can't get what you want.

We are doing CP this year at 4:30. In the past, we have done last lunch at Kona, 4:45 Plaza, late lunch LTT. If you can't get in at a MK restuarant, try one on the monorail. Kona, Grand Floridian Cafe, Chef Mickey's (though this will probably be tough to get). Also, we have had a big late lunch at our resort and done a cs at the party but late enough that it wasn't so crowded.

Our MVMCP dinner tradition (this November will be our 3rd time) is the Plaza. As a PP said, they have great sandwiches.

When we go to parties, we eat a large, late lunch outside the park and plan to get to MK at 4 pm (when you have been able to get in with a party ticket in the past). When we get hungry around 7 or 8 we just get a snack. Honestly, the party tickets are pretty pricey and I'm not wowed by any of the dining choices at MK, so I wouldn't want to spend party time at a sit down meal.

Halloween is my favorite holiday and my mom (who used to be a total halloween hater) now LOVES IT because we have gone to disney for halloween the past two years in 2007 we went back to our hotel got ready and headed back to the parks a a TEENY bit early and sat down at the pinochio restraunt right behind cinerella's castle and had some pizza and then headed out to the party and honstly it doesnt matter how much you eat keep in mind that the party is about five hours and your bound to want a snack.
and by the way bit of advice (if you didnt already know) during the first parade find a place in the park with your favorite rides and go on them however many times you want because all the crowds will be watching the parade then when they are all standing in lines for the rides you just went on a bunch of times you'll be sitting in a nice comfortable spot for the second parade ;]

How about Trails End at Fort Wilderness?
We could just eat around 5pm and then take the boat over to MK to be there by 7. How is the food there?
