I read on another thread that it is supposed to be open through the end of August according to CM's working that area.

FYI, When we were there 2 weeks ago it was not open at rope drop. I think it opened up an hour later. From the looks of it to me it seems as though it will become a permanent fixture, but I bet they will redo it with better signage and post return times. People were way confused as to how it worked, a CM told us a lot of people think they can grap a FP at those machines and then get another at the ride itself.

We were at AK for rope drop last week (Tue, 8/11) and the central FP location was open. My DH went to grab FPs for EE, when he noticed that folks were able to get FPs for multiple attractions at the same time (some folks were handing tickets between FP machines for two different rides). He asked a CM, who said "you didn't hear it from me" but basically confirmed that you could. So my DH got a FP for EE and another for Safari, and a CM gave him one for Kali. Those were the only attractions we were interested in. All had return times between 10-11. So we were able to ride EE standby, do Safari w/ FP, Kali w/ FP, and EE again w/ FP all in an hour. Not sure if it was a glitch, but that's how it was operating that morning...

I read on another site that they are not linked to the overall system. I really hope that they are there in a few weeks. It would be great to ride all the big rides in a couple of hours.

We were there last Friday at RD and it was open. I wish I would have known you could get them for multiple attractions at once. That's awesome! I did have a sweet CM did give our party of 6 FP for Kali which was nice.

I have to say it worked out really well and I hope they keep it. The rest of our group went and rode EE standby with no wait. I got the FP for EE at the front and took my younger DD to Primeval Whirl b/c she doesn't like the Yeti Return time was 10-11 so at 10 I got another set of FP for EE to use later.
