Candlelight Dining Package Details

I am a TA and i just talked to my regional sales manager at Disney. He looked into the details for me and there are a few changes to the package this year. SO the big changes are in summary its now 2 TS, set menus, and you get a special viewing area for illuminations. See his email below.

He couldn’t send all of the menus but sent just this one as an FYI. It’s a set menu this year and is 2 Table credits. New for this year will also be included a special (standing) viewing area for the Illuminations fireworks display on that night, the location will be stated when the guest checks in at the restaurant for the meal that day. There are several options and they are not requestable.

It is a set menu, not based on whether the guest has a Dine or Deluxe Dining plan, still two Table Service entitlements and the menus vary, for instance Le Cellier has a Salad and Appetizer.

LeCellier Children's Menu -$17.03
Entrée
Pasta with Tomato Sauce
All children's meals are served with a complimentary fountain beverage., Child's Portion Available
Hot Dog
Served with your choice of Fries or Corn. All children's meals are served with a complimentary fountain beverage., Child's Portion Available

LeCellier Dinner Menu -$63.89

Appetizer
Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup
Made with Moosehead Beer and Smoke Bacon, Signature Item

Salad
Steakhouse Caesar
Baby Romaine Lettuce, Sourdough Croutons, and a Creamy Caesar Dressing

Entrée
Le Cellier Mushroom Filet Mignon
Signature Item
Seared King Salmon
served over Sweet Maple Corn Cake with Candied Walnuts and Maple-Ginger Glaze

Dessert
Crème Brûlée Sampler
Chocolate "Moose"
Chocolate Mousse rolled in Toasted Chocolate Crumbs with Maple Leaf Antlers

When will the details be announced, do you know?

I was looking at last year's details and was planning to reserve lunch at Biergarten with the CP package for early December. We are not on the Dining Plan, so I hope there are cheaper packages than the one listed, or we will just forego the package this year.

Thanks for the info

I will be watching it from the outside this year.

I am taking two college aged friends, and they are on a budget. They really want to do a character breakfast, so we are using 2TS credits on that and I am treating them to dinner one night OOP.

I would rather sit near the Candlelight Processional and still hear the program this year, and do the character breakfast instead.

any new info this morning? What is the menus for each place? The menu listed for Le Cellier, do you get the choice of the fish or the steak? I was confused on how it was listed. Also do you get your choice for the dessert, the moose or the creme brule?

Any word on the rumors about booking starting 90 days out from the start of CP, regardless of when you were attending, not the 90 days from when you arrive like normal ADRs? Robo mentioned this as a rumor a couple of weeks ago.

The rsm told me wdw-dine has the menus and prices. He logged into their system to get this info for me. Whether or not they want to go through all this info is up to the cm. Some are good and some are not as we have all experienced

They have you come in a seperate entrance and you sit very close up but not center, more to the right...Good news is you get a seat and you do not have to wait on the very long stand by line.

This 2 TS and set menu is aggravating; what is Disney thinking? Im really considering just waiting in the line; we did that the last time we went and got seats. I'm not sure how many people would actually use 2 TS; I know we definitely aren't interested in doing that.

EDITED to add: I don't understand how they can warrant around a $10.00 price difference as another TS credit, either. I just looked up the price for Le Cellier on last years information, and it was literally only about $10.00 less. I understand they're adding in the special viewing areas for Illuminations, but it's still not worth it. We received a VIP pass for one of those viewing areas on our honeymoon (through the YOAMD promotion), and the view was not any different from where we've stood before. How aggravating.

2TS meals really is not good for us either - since we only have 5 TS meals altogether. So I guess we will be waiting on - line for it
