I am going to be starting as a campus rep this fall and I am very excited
:It is not a paid position but you do get what is called RepRewards which is like a point system based on how much rep work you do- you get cool things (i'm not sure what kinds of things yet though lol) You still get a Disney ID and free admission to the parks and all the same discounts as regular cast members. I am still not sure if campus reps get main entrance passes or not i have heard conflicting stories on that one... |

What are the requirements to become a campus rep? My school doesn't offer the presentations (I'll have to do the e-presentation) and I even have to withdraw as a student for the duration of my program because my school doesn't acknowledge it. Is it possible to become a campus rep if your school doesn't even recognize the program?

You might be able to talk to someone and see if either you can start recruiting at your school or maybe help a campus rep team at a different school...?In order to be a campus rep you have to have already participated in the college program and still be enrolled in college

. . . so what is it exactly? I get the gist of it, but more specifically, what sort of responsibilities and obligations does it entail? I'm really interested in becoming a campus rep after my cp stunt, but wish I knew a little more about what to expect.

Thank you Holly! when was your CP? what did you do?
I am not quite sure just yet about the responsibilities but from what my lead campus rep told me is that basically, we put up signs everywhere we can, schedule presentation(s), communicate with the school's career center faculty, post things on the school's website... to sum it up: it's an advertising job.

Sorry Holly I didn't read your post right- let me rephrase my questions: You are planning on doing the fall advantage 2010? what do you want to do?

Thanks, that info is very helpful. I'm one of those people who really needs to have a good visual of something in order form an opinion, so even specifics like "putting up posters" is a far better image to help me decide if I want to do it than what you get from the official campus rep website Disney has. (Plus the fact that I plan everything way in advance I can't wait until I go down to FL to find out about it
)As far as what my Fall CP choices are, I'm thinking: merch, hospitality, concierge, attractions, and character attendant. I'm thinking that merchandise is my preferred role though (Maybe tied with hospitality). However, since I want to work for Disney after I've graduated, I figure it would be good to stay on as a seasonal employee through becoming a campus rep once i've completed the program |

Campus rep is definitely a good way to stay with the Disney Company while you are still in school
![]() Hospitality was fun- I worked Front Desk at Coronado Springs. my favorite part of that job was being a front desk runner- where I could deliver things to the guests' rooms and drive around in a golf cart all day

:-) That sounds like fun. You're not the first person I've heard from that said they really enjoyed being a front desk runner. If I get hospitality I'll know at least one thing to look forward to at least!
