Bus from EPCOT to Contemporary

I dont know if this is in the right place but I will ask anyway. When we were in Disney World a couple weeks ago we were leaving EPCOT and we figured that taking a bus would be quicker than wiating for a monorail to the TTC and then transferring and taking a monorail to the CR. But when we got to the bus station we couldnt find a bus to the CR. THe only thing that didnt make sense is why is there a bus from the CR to MK and back but not EPCOT. Is it always like that or did we just miss it? I found it really weird.

There is no bus service between monorail resorts and Epcot. Where did you see a bus from CR to MK???

Depends on when they were there. If they were there after the monorail crash and the monorails were not running, then there would be a bus running in the place of the monrails. Also, if for some reason the trains were not running, after the crash, they would still run busses if it was going to be a lengthy delay. They are still 2 trains short, and may have used busses to augment the trains.(saw one of the monorail cars in the paint shop already done with its body work and ready for paint.)

The 3 MK monorail resorts have always depended on the monrails to go to and from Epcot and MK.

One is already done? I didn't think that they could touch either one of them until things were decided by the mother with the law suit? I thought that I had read that somewhere...

Anyways, other than that time where they were running busses instead, I am fairly certain that their is no bus from the Contemp to MK? I thought that Monorail was the main source of transportation. Unless as quoted, they were giving decisions for that time period.

Sorry just looked at the way I phrased that and its a little confusing. The train was not done. I should have said the body work was done on one car and was waiting on paint. At least as of about 2 weeks ago. They dont have to do the entire train, on maybe 4 cars out of 14. 2 from each train judging from the pics I saw.(the first 2 from each train) The trains and track systems were released to Disney less then a week after the accident. Disney can and did do what it wanted at that time. The trains were separated and towed to the shop and the damaged sections taken off the beams. After they were released. From there, they went about a block to the body shop, and then on to paint which is the opposite side of the bldg. We did a drive around the world for a transport map I am working on, and took a trip to the back by the wharehouses where the paint shop and maintance is.Besides seeing several deer around 2 in the afternoon, one of the trains was already disassembled and one car repaired and waiting on paint. There was no mistaking the body style.
I think the mom tried to have things preserved, but it didnt work out for the trains. Theres more than enogh pics and videos and all of the computer data and voice tapes they wont need the physical trains.Theres black boxes on the trains and the audio is taped by security. Those will prob be preserved for a very long time. Its just a matter of matching the 2 together and they can tell exactly what happend.NTSB probably already knows, but standard for them theyll wait between 6 months and a year for the psychological effects fo the accident to wear off before they make an announcement. They do that with all other accidents they investigate also, not just Disney.

As far as a MK Contemp bus, the only time one runs besides a special event, would be when the monrails are down for an extended period of time.During normal operatons there is no bus. There may be a loadzone for the contemporary at the mk, but no bus unless its needed.(I used to work in busses)
