Odd BWI Lobby Questions

Two questions actually:

1.Do the penny crank movie player machines actually work?

I am working on putting together a surprise scavenger hunt for my son and I was wondering if I could use that as one of the clues (to 'watch' a penny movie). I have seen pictures of the machines and have been told I can find them near the lobby level elevator bank. I just don't know if they are operational or not?

We were just there.

One, possibly two, of the penny crank machines work. One was definitely broken, but, unfortunately, I don't recall which one.

The elephant is on a shelf on the "villas" end of the lobby, going toward the store. There is a fireplace below where the elephant sits. It's on the opposite side of the room from the check-in desk. The elephant is a model of a building that used to be at, I think, southern NJ.

As for the other picture -- it's one of the ornately framed pictures above the check-in area. I think there are three along the check-in desk wall. This photo will show you where it's at in relation to the check-in desk.
