Just returned yesterday and the kids loved the pin trading.

Some of the hidden mickey pin pouches that were available during our stay included the Fast Pass series, Mickey Icon food series, characters riding in a car, famous symbols (i.e. flags, the 5 legged goat, etc.), map symbols, etc. I remember seeing at least 6 or 7 different colored packages at the major pin stores.

They also had boxes with two random pins including Disney characters dressed as Star Wars characters, Haunted Mansion, Theme Park rides with Disney characters, Vinylmation, Princesses, Disney characters, etc. Not all of them had hidden mickeys on them.

Disney has different sets of 5 to 10 pins. You can buy a pouch that has two separate pins at random. You never know what you're buying until you open the pouch. If you don't like the pin, you can trade it away.

Also, at the major pin stores, you could buy an extra puzzle piece pin for $1 with a $30 purchase.

ETA: A few more mystery packs that I remember seeing: Figment, Chip and Dale Aloha Series and Pets. On CM lanyards you could also find the Tiki's and the monorail series.

Did I just read this correctly, there is a whole Figment series? I collect mainly Figment pins so I would probably spend a fortune getting all of them.

I think there are just 5 Figment hidden mickey pins and they all look identical. It's a square pin with Figment's head with a different word below it such as "Shy", "Confused", etc. In one corner is the not so hidden mickey.

My kids are the same way. I just helped them hang their pins from our trip in their rooms tonight. They could tell me where they traded each pin and what pin they traded for it. They love being able to display them year round in their rooms. Such a great souvenir and remembrance from each of their trips.

Thanks for that. I have all of the pins of the previous series of those particular pins so I suspect I will to try to get a complete set of them as well.
