Illuminations viewing from Boardwalk

I am sending my godson and his family to the VWL for 2 nights in November. They are going to spend 2 days at the MK. I suggested that they go to watch Illuminations from the Boardwalk since the MK closes early on Sunday night. Is the bridge separating the BC and the Boardwalk the best place for them to view? Thanks!

You can view Illuminations from the Boardwalk hotel. Stand next to the Dance Hall on the boardwalk for the best view.

Bear in mind that Illuminations is not an all-fireworks show like Wishes. Most of Illuminations (video globe, fire, water and light effects) takes place on the World Showcase Lagoon, and can't be seen outside the park.

From the bridge next to Boardwalk, you will be able to see the higher fireworks at the beginning and end of the show. Only a couple of minutes worth.

Even without Illuminations, the suggestion to visit the Boardwalk area at night is a good one. With the entertainment (and ice cream!) it's a great place to spend an evening.
