Beach Umbrellas @ Water Parks

We have a reasonable sized beach umbrella. Are these allowed at Blizzard Beach and/or Typhoon Lagoon? I recall that there is quite abit of sandy areas that one could be set-up with no disruptions to other guests.

Appreciate any feedback.

I don't know if they're allowed or not, but we didn't see any beach umbrellas being used at either water park last month. At both water parks, there are so many chairs everywhere (very crowded together) that I think it would be hard to set up a beach umbrella. I also don't think the sand is deep enough to get a beach umbrella deep enough to have it stand up. If you get to the water parks early, there is more than enough seating in the shade. At TL, there were still lots of shaded seating areas available two hours after the water park opened the day we were there (a weekday), and at BB there were still shaded seating areas available when we left around 1:00-2:00 (a Saturday).

I, personally, have never had the need for an umbrella. Both waterparks (especially TL) have plenty of shade. Plus if I'm not in line for a ride, I'm sunbathing (which requires a lack of shade).

I'm also fairly certain that they do not allow beach umbrellas in the Waterparks.

Have a magical day.
