Help with Frontpage
I'm creating a website using Frontpage, and am having some trouble. I am trying to create a site with frames so that the banner & table of contents are consistent.
I create the first page fine, but then when I create a second page, even though it's a different file, the first page takes on the second page info. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I want to create multiple pages and have them link to one another. Can anyone give me some guidance? I would really appreciate it.

I was going to suggest the Tech Support Board.
![]() Well, at least I bumped it for you.

Is the code carrying over from the old page to the new? That's about all I could think of. In Frontpage, you usually work in design mode. Switch to Split or Code mode, and look at both pages, to see if the info in the code part is the same. If it is, go into Split mode (so you see both the code and the design part of the page) and highlight what you don't want in the design, which will also highlight the code on the other half of the page, so you can see what you're doing. When you've got it highlighted, delete it and save again. That should work.
Of course, my real answer is not to work in Frontpage, but then again, I know just enough code that I'm dangerous that way. =) Sorry I couldn't be too much more helpful!

![]() Thank you both. I finally got the answer - I was overwriting the main frame. I'd do the website in another format, but don't know any at this time. The good news is that it's working.

Mary Jo, my DH does our website in Front Page and he has been using it for years (and really likes it). If you have other questions, he said you can PM me and he'll try to help.
