2 on a slide at TL?

Grandma and Grandpa want to go to TL next trip with our kids.
Our kids will be 5 and 3. Yes they can do the kiddie play area
but can they do any slides?

I know a couple have height restrictions which they wouldn't be able to do. so those are out.
But what about the other slides? Can I ride down with them on the slides?
Because I don't think they would be able to hold their own when they splash in the deep pool on their own.

Some are made for groups but some usually it's just one person, do they let parents slide down with their kids?

So I guess my question is which slides can we do together?

No as far as I know BUT what I did was go down first and be waiting on the side, almost to the steps, for them to come down afterme. by the time they bob up they are half way to you anyway and I would just reach out and grab them. The life guard also stands right there and they are good at giving kids a "shove" to who ever is waiting on them. Another thing the water really isn't that deep where you come out.

Both water parks have a family raft ride and I'm fairly certain there are no height requirements on either. The rafts hold at least 4 people and the ride is a lot of fun (although BB's is better, IMO). The Crush 'N Gusher at Typhoon Lagoon has two-person tubes that you ride on, but the height requirement is 48". Other than those each slider must go down alone.

BB has a tube slide that you can go down in a double tube - it was a favorite for me and my 5 year old. Other than that, just the family tube ride (and the family raft ride at BB is way better than the TL one). The only double tube ride I found at TL had a height limit that my son couldn't make. I just got a life jacket for him (they have them for free) and he wore it the whole time. He went on any ride he was tall enough for and I'd send him down first and then come down right behind him. By the time I splashed in behind him, he usually was part way across the pool and I'd just swim up behind him and hurry him on out of the splash pool. Worked great!

The single slides are for one person at a time. Having two go down makes a high possibility of at least one injury. If you want, you can have one adult near the exit at the bottom, however the lifeguards will not allow them to enter the water at the bottom.
