Talking Moody Monday.... So Let's Have A Giggle!

I don't know about anyone else, but i'm really struggling to do any actual work today, since we have a triple whammy distraction today:

1. It's Monday
2. Just booked a villa for our next trip to WDW in 2011
3. Moving house this weekend coming

So, I figured I needed some cheering up, and there's no better way to do that than to share silly stories.

With that in mind, what's the daftest / funniest / silliest thing you've done at WDW or during your planning?

I'll start us off, one of our (female) friends who came along last time brought a nice shiny white swimsuit. Now, why a swimsuit manufacturer would make a white swimsuit that is quite thin and goes transparent when wet I do not know..... but it was quite amusing watching the look on her face after we advised her to look in the mirror following her first swim in the pool at the villa when she asked "why don't you think i should wear this one to the water parks?"

Still makes me laugh even though it was years ago!

he he!

I think mine would have to be......

2000 our trip just after new year with me DH (who was then DF), my mum and dad. We flew in and landed about 8pm, went straight to our villa to find that there was no water on in the house. So Dad and DH went off to try and find a stopcock or something outside to turn it on. Anywho..... they were gone for ages and when they came back there was still no water. In the mean time some nice people who lived next door had come around to the house and offered us some water so we could at least boil the kettle for a cuppa. The next day the management company came by and all was well.

About 3 days into our holiday we woke up and I fancied a swim in the pool, so outside I went, cossie on and towel in hand to find that the pool was empty!!! Dad and DH had managed to pull the plug and all the water had drained away!!! They did say that they had been "messing" with some things by the pool and it turns out that was what it was.

It took 3 days to fill back up with the hosepipe and I don't think it actualy got warm again!
