Campsite
We are going in January, just my husband and I, and have reserved a tent/pop up site. We would like to be close to the bathrooms because my husband has crohns. What sites would be good for us to request?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I would just request being close to a comfort station for medical reasons. There are lots of sites that would fit the bill, so if you request the criteria that matter to you the site assigners should place you appropriately.

I would definitely have them make a note on your reservation that you need to be close to the bath house and why..... because alot of campers who don't have a bathroom ... tent would like to be close to the bath house. You have a very good reason to want to be close. I know if they see that ahead of time the will try and get what you need. Some people I've heard will fax the request in a week before they arrive. I have just always had a note on my reservation and usually I get what I want.

We tent camped this past January and I sent a fax 3 days before we were scheduled to arrive requesting the same thing (but obviously for different reasons than you). We had a site right by the comfort station. I would definitely put in there the reason why just to make sure. Just wanted to let you know that we had success with the same thing in January. Have fun!
Are you bringing a portable heater or electric blanket? We got cold one of the nights we were there, even with the electric blanket. |
