Eat at Tony's & Watch the Parade at MK - The DIS Discussion Forums

I made ADR's for Tony's at 2:15 on 9-20 - the MK parade starts at 3:00pm and I know it comes right past Tony's - which is why I made the ressies...

Are there tables outside of Tony's? I know they have a wall of windows - where we could watch the parade, but I'd really like to be outside...

I think I remember some outdoor tables, but I could be wrong...

Any help is appreciated!!

There are some, but not many. I do not know the odds of your getting one, or whether or not you would be permitted to request one. Might possibly also be too hot to sit out there.

Thanks for the info....but I'm sad to see the "H" word in your post...."HOT" -

I am going to think positive - and assume a freak cold front will be in the area on the days of our visit...

Well, it'll likely be hot no matter where you sit to watch the parade. If you don't mind eating while sitting...

. . . there are about five tables that have a good window view
. . . but, people stand in front of 2-3 of the windows (on either edge)

I think I remember some outdoor tables
. . . there are four tables outside
. . . but, they normally get snatched more about 1-1½ hrs ahead of time
. . . then, people stay until the parade is over
. . . they are basically good, but it is tough to see the dancers
. . . with folks standing, you mainly see floats and tall objects

We ate at Tony's last xmas week for dinner and were able to see Spectro from our table because we were seated in the conservatory room(the class window one). If you are not seated there or outside, they will NOT let you stand outside or by the windows during the parade..at least they stopped everyone for the evening parade..I assume they will do the same for the afternoon. You can request the outside or the conservatory at check-in podium, but not guaranteed.
