Engraved Name Tags

Hi I am coming to Disney World November 4-11, and I have a question. About 2 years ago we got engraved name tags that had the year on it & look like cast member’s tags. Last year I tried looking for them & couldn’t find them. I was wondering if any knows if they are still selling them & where?

Thanks Candice

They haven't sold them for a couple of years. We did get them last year as a part of the lunch with an imagineer.

I still have mine from years and years ago, but I can't wear it because everyone thinks I work at Disney when I do and then they don't believe me when I say I don't.

GOH Name Badges...

Well, that is formally what they are called. I am indeed fortunate we have a full DL set; our son has one as well from DL's 50th. Talk about rare.
My wife is fortunate she has a Tigger one from WDW; as well as a Minnie one. I have to figure out how to fix that one. It's tough having choices!

The latest I hear from when I was at the world in Feb '09 straight from the horse's mouth is that they are discontinuing them indefinetly. I went to the last place I knew I could get them: at Disney's days of xmas and that is what the ladies there told me. They also told me if folks "collectively" contacted Guest services and requested them; then possibly they would bring them back.

Part of our touring plans always include wearing our GOH Name Badges, and yes, we are mistaken on OCCASION as CM's, but not that often. More we are asked where they can purchase them.

Same thing happens to me each year. Most of the time they want to know where the restroom is. Lucky I go every year so I can tell where to go.

I tell people where to go all the time!

And, I don't even have a name badge.

And, I'm not even at Disney.
