Another good morning!

Hey Everyone!

I called back this morning to find out how much it would be to add the dining plan to our package, since I was saving so much money on the room now that the CM got me the military discount. I was able to add the dining plan and my price is still $38.25 cheaper than it was when I booked the room last week! So basically I got a room discount AND free dining!

Now to start planning where we want to eat!

I love Disney!

Not sure if you are asking for opinions...a couple of our favorites to eat at are:

Tutta Italia (a must do every trip)
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Captain's Grill (best kept secret in WDW)
Beaches & Cream

Yes, it's in the YC - right off the lobby. Food is fantastic and the place has been so easy to get into it!

We've eaten both breakfast and dinner here and both were wonderful.

On past trips we always limited where we dined based on what my nieces would eat (my oldest niece is autistic and will only eat chicken and fries when we're out. She's a seriously picky eater. We've tried to get her to try other foods in the past and stopped when she literally puked while eating mac & cheese once.) On our last trip we learned that we could request chicken strips and fries for her at any restaurant, so on this trip we're not going to worry about her eating habits and we're going to try some different places.

Of course we'll do our favorites like Chef Mickey!

It can be tough, but she really loves Disney and is usually very understanding of crowds, etc. there. The only problem we did run into last year was with a dining experience, we didn't realize that the restaurant at Ft. Wilderness (I can't remember the name) was a buffet and they didn't have anything she liked. She started to really melt down, and we decided to leave. When we went to explain to the manager what we were doing she told us it wouldn't be a problem to get her chicken and fries, and that was when we learned that we really could request different food for her. We all ended up having a peaceful happy meal and all melt downs were diverted.

My youngest niece (2) is experiencing delays and they think she's also autistic. She took her first trip to Disney last year when she was just 1, so it will be interesting to see how she handles it this year. She likes flashing lights and loud noises, so I think some of the attractions will really be right up her alley.
