awwww...

My youngest is starting K this year in Sept., so I know how you feel. I was wondering if I could drive up to the preschool (teachers come and get your child out of the seat) with an empty van just to have the feeling of going there. I don't think the teachers would appreciate it, but I'm sure they could relate and would have a great laugh.

I miss those preschool days and I enjoyed every moment. Now I have a 2nd grader and a K and it's starting to freak me out a bit. I know I will enjoy my Kindergartener's school experience, since she'll be my last.

to you!

My oldest just started kinder. I was happy for him but can't believe how old he's getting. Made me a bit emotional.

My youngest started preschool in June and I was sad to be done with the home daycare and onto school. I ALMOST sent her to the preschool at my son's school and if so I would have had one starting kinder and one starting preschool on the same day! Would have been way too much for me so I'm glad they were staggered!

Well, crap. I can't even read this without tearing up! Becomming a mom has made me an emotional wreck!!

I hear you, OP. My younger DD starts preschool the last day of August, and while I'm totally excited for her....a little of me is very sad for me. I'm going to miss the days where I had my babies here with me I feel like they've gone by waaaaay to fast.

Went to new parent orientation this evening and were made aware of the "Boo-Hoo Breakfast." On the first day of school, the PTA provides a light breakfast and box of tissues for all the new parents at the school.

I will be crying in about 3 weeks when my dd starts prek.

She is my 3rd (and last child). I was done at 2 so this is bitter sweet.

I am excited for her & well I am excited for me too since I will have 2 days of 3 hours of NO KIDS!!!!!! Whooo HOooooo....let the drinks begin.

Seriously I am going to be able to go for a walk those 2 days with out pushing a stroller or a bike. I can go to the store to quickly as I won't have to make a bathroom run & if I do, I am quick. Santa is going to have a great time shopping too.

My youngest left for college last Sept. He has been home all summer and can't wait to go back. When I drop him off this Sept I probably won't see him until the end of the October.

Well with my kids spread over a 20 year span, I've experienced it all. My oldest went to K, then it seemed like the next day went to High School then off to college. I totally understand how fast it seems. My ds8 will be starting 3rd grade next Wednesday - I can sit here and remember him as a little baby and now he's only about 6" shorter than I am. And my baby, she starts Kindergarten next week. I'm excited for her (but a little sad too) as she's been waiting for this day for the past 3 years - but I can't say how I'll be doing when she climbs on that school bus.
