Chef Mickey's - Character Breakfast

One of my favorite Character breakfasts in all of WDW is Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The atmosphere is great, the food is wonderful (great selections), the music is cute and the classic Disney Characters such as Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald & Pluto were all fantastic. They all took their time at our table - spending time with everyone (adults and kids alike!) I also enjoy 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The food is equally good, the characters are great...but...it is a little bit more crowded there than Chef Mickey's - especially for those who are a bit larger.

I have to agree with you as well. Chef Mickey's has become a tradition for us. We eat dinner there on arrival night and breakfast on departure. It is our way of "saying hello and goodbye to our friends". We will be seeing them in a couple of weeks and cannot wait. By the way, it's just not the characters we go for. The food is very good and has a good selection at either dinner or breakfast.

Stick to the breakfast. The food at dinner is horrible. It tastes like a Golden Corral. Actually the Golden Corral is a little better and has more selection.

The buses start running from the resorts at about 6:30AM every day.

Board the MK bus and tell the driver you are going to Chef Mickey's and (s)he may
drive you directly to the Contemporary during the early morning times.
