I'm soooooo excited, I think I may burst!!!!!

I have made change after change after change on our September trip and now, I am finally set and happy!

First, I rented points from a DVC owner- 4 nights at WLV and 4 nights at the new BLT..... and as amazing as that would have been, I just didn't have the cash at the time to pay the owner (new tires on our car were needed, washing machine broke, air conditioner broke) so I had to cancel the trip....

And then the depression sank in and I thought, why don't we book through Disney?? We have hundreds of dollars of gift cards and Disney Reward dollars we can pay off the trip with! So, I booked 6 nights at POR.

Then, since i had originally planned on an 8-night trip, I really wanted to add one extra night on and decided to surprise my husband for his 31st bday and spend our last night at the Poly .....

Then I booked an in-room celebration surprise from the Disney Florist that cost me $435 (I know, crazy! But I love planning surprises for DH!) .....

The more I thought about that, the more I thought "why not just stay a few more nights at the Poly for that price?!?!"

So I cancelled the Florist package, and booked 3 nights at POR 9/5-9/8, and then on DHs actual bday, I will be surprising him in the morning, bags packed, and saying "Happy Birthday! We're heading to the Polynesian for 4 nights!!!!" And in the end, since I would have been spending the $435 on the Florist.... it cost me just $200 more than what I would have paid at check-in with my original plans!!!!

The Poly is our DREAM resort and to be able to enjoy it for 4 nights instead of just 1..... well I don't think I'll even want to go to the parks and leave our resort!!!! I can't wait to see my husband's face! Oh and I made sure to pay it in full when I booked today..... so my husband doesn't see the total amount on the credit card!

And NOW, just as I was about to hit the "Submit New Thread" button, Disney Photopass people returned my message and I have booked the Poly Resort Photo Session for DHs bday too and the best part, whomever I spoke to said it should be no problem at all to pay with DHs bday fun card!!!!!! The magic just keeps on comin'!!!!!

I would be so excited also. Poly is our dream resort. But I just can't bring myself to spend the extra 2000.00 for a week. So we are staying at CBR.

Make sure you leave it for long enough to get DH birthday gift card.
