Getting ready for Christmas

Was wondering we are going in November for Bonfire and fireworks and will be leaving on Sun 8th November.

After looking at the programme I realised Christmas starts on the 8 Nov so I am now really excited that we should see some of the Christmas shows and decorations.

So my question / concern as the park I guess will be closing around 10pm as its a Saturday and on Sunday the 8th will be open at 8am for EMH. This does not give then long to put up the decs, Christmas tree etc. So will this be a gradual thing over say a few days or when I enter the park at 8am everything will be done and magical?

Please if anyone has been over this change over time can you put me out of my misery . Many thanks

We are also going for bonfire and start of christmas and I assumed that they must be very busy overnight on the 7th Nov? Either that or they stagger the decorations over a couple of days. You should see some on your last day though.

When we went last Halloween, Belle's Christmas Village was already up and some of the decorations in the Studios too, so it seems to be a gradual thing. It should ALL be up by 8 November.

quite a bit was already done before 1st day of xmas , and some were fenced off that you couldnt see them until the 1st day of season

when we entered the park on the 1st day , wow and wow again , and it was even snowing on main street (fake snow)

ooh thanks for all your replies.

Feeling happy and excited now. Can't wait to see the big Christmas tree and the snow on main street and DD and DS are going love to see father Christmas. This is really a bonus as we only really planned to see the fireworks.

This will be a nice end to our holiday and will put us in the mood for Christmas.
