Can I bring it home mommy?

Yeah, this is what my 17 yo said to me yesterday. I knew I was in trouble with the "mommy", I am usually called "momma", or "mom" in front of other people. She was at a friends house and their cat had kittens. Normally I either rescue pets or adopt them from a shelter. But, this was really good timing. She is a senior this year. All her friends graduated last year, and she doesn't make friends easily. She's quiet. Her boyfriend is getting a job and going to college. I figured this would be a great time.

The pic she showed me wasn't clear, but it's adorable.

My oldest wanted and got a snake and her belly button pierced this age, the kitten is a welcome relief. lol

disclaimer: It took sis 3 years, tons of research, conditioning for me lol, to convince me about the snake and a year for the piercing.

They both said the same thing about Luigi from the Italian restaurant at WDW. I had to say no to that one.

I will. I love cats.

I am curious on how my two dogs are going to take it though. I know the drill about how to introduce them slowly. But I always had my Maxie before and she made sure all the animals got along. Now, I will actually have to do some work. lol

Congrats on the new addition!

We have a cat who thinks he's a dog. He actually comes running when he hears us come home at night, jumps up to sit with us on the sofa when we are watching TV, and mews when he wants us to play with him.

He is terrified of our new puppy, however, and the puppy only wants to play with him and can't understand why he runs away everytime.

Deb, I had a cat like that. I loved her like crazy. She would come when I called her, I was her favorite.
