YES! Made plans for November trip...a couple of questions please - The DIS Discussion Forums

I called DVC this morning at 9 on the button

It's FINALLY my 90 day mark for dining and touring reservations

Booked the Wanyama Safari with dinner at Jiko for our arrival date of Sunday November 8th

WOO HOO! So EXCITED about this.
I'm a planner (as are most of us DVCer's

) so I wanted to make sure to get this for our day of arrival. We've got a 9:30 flight out of JFK, with a car service picking us up and stopping in Publix for a quick and small pick up (mostly the liquid kind

), as it's just us moms/cousins on this trip

. I'm actually thinking of calling garden grocer for delivery...do they sell beer, wine and champagne? I'm hoping we'll be checking into Kidani by 1:30. Thinking I'll book Sanna for lunch, drop our stuff in the room and do the Wanyama Safari!!!

We are totally looking forward to this.
So that's day one!!!

Day Two - Monday,
I booked Boma for breakfast, thinking we'll go over to AK Park (the only park my cousins are interested in doing) for the day, with dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse

followed by a night in Jellyrolls (is Jellyrolls open on Mondays??)

Day Three,

Breakfast in our room (I'm thinking a champagne breakfast with fruit and pastries

), followed by hanging at the pool for a few hours, with lunch in Sanaa, 6 pm Cirque show, followed by dinner in DTD (can anyone recommend a good place to eat there, please?)

Day Four, Wednesday, and last day

Booked breakfast at Boma again, hang by the pool or viewing areas of savannah from the Lodge, shop in the Lodge store (my fav on property), and get picked up for the airport! Whew

quick short trip, I HATE to leave! What AM I talking about? It didn't even get here yet!

Ummm...don't be too surprised if your Day 1 plans get altered slightly. I've never had a room ready that early, so you may have to leave your luggage with bell services. Make sure you pack a carry-on with a change of clothes if necessary just in case. I would not trust your room to be ready when you hope it will be.

This is speaking directly from experience.

Read a post here recently by a DVC'er saying good things about Paradiso 37 at DTD. Sounds like a great trip you've got planned
