Dinner before MNSSHP
We are hoping to go to Disney in october of 2010 and do MNSSHP. So do most of you who go to MNSSHP do dinner ADR before going to the party at a non-Park meal or would your eat inside the park so you can then be ready for the party? And what is the latest time to TS in the Park before MNSSHP starts?

I actually do a TS lunch for that day and just eat something CS for dinner. Sometimes we sit and eat dinner while we are waiting for the parade. I know a lot of people get early reservations at Crystal Palace... maybe like 4:30ish, then come out all ready to party. I don't like to worry about my dinner reservations taking away time from my party time!!

We've done dinner in the park and outside the park. One year for MVMCP we had the earliest ADR possible at 1900 Park Fare and we've also done early dinner at Chef Mickey's. Both worked out very well. Hopped on the monorail after eating and were in the MK by 6:00.
We've also done the Crystal Palace at 4:00 and that worked out very well too. But if you want to make sure you have room for some snacks later, what has worked out the best for us is to make an ADR around 4:00 at the Plaza for sandwiches. Its a much lighter meal than doing a buffet and the food is very good. One year my DD really wanted to eat at LTT for the character meal. We ended up having to take time out of the Christmas party for dinner. I kind of felt like that was wasted party time and wouldn't normally recommend doing it. But that year it worked out well since it was quite chilly and we warmed up during dinner!

When we did MVMCP last December, we opted for a 5:35ish ADR at LTT. We actually used the party as our only MK day, so we felt the dinner took too much time away from the party even though we arrived at 4pm. However, for MNSSHP this year, we are doing a 5:30ish ADR at CRT but we are going to MK another day as well so I don't anticipate it being too bad. I'd say most people opt for a park ADR or try one of the monorail resorts for an early ADR.

I like eating in the park before the party.
We usually arrive about 4:00 and go on a ride that will be closed during the party and then go to dinner at LTT or CRT (did Tony's once, won't be back). By the time we are done with dinner, the party has usually just started.

We make ADRs around 5:00 at GF, Poly or WL and then we just hop the boat over to MK. This avoids the crowds coming from BC and we have a relaxing dinner. It's too hectic to eat inside MK the night of the party.
