Ya all.
Let me start of saying that ya all are all in for a wild ride.
O.K well lets start this off the traditional way with the who also known as the characters
O.K theres me DW barbara. Im the mother and wife to my loving family. I love all things Disney and art. I was recently an art teacher untill I got laid off. I love spending time with my family and am the planner of our DW trips along with my daughter Emily.

Next up we have my lovie (Note- I make up a lot of words) DH Mitch. He works at home and goes on business trips when needed. He likes Disney but won't let me go as often as I would like. Hes a great hubbie as well as an amazing daddy. He also can make anyone laugh.


Heres us from out nov 08 trip

Next up is Emily shes 13 and LOVES and I mean loves Disney she can probally out disney me and yes I'll admit shes also a diser. Shes going into 8th grade Plays softball and the flute in the school band. She also loves her sister. (Or at least half the time)

Finally we have Amy she'll be 11 on wednesday. They grow up so fast. She starting middle school in a couple weeks another. She Likes disney too. Loves tink and the princesses. Is very Artsy like me (another new word) She loves her sister too. (Ehh maybe about 80 % of the time.

Ok let me give you some backround information and then we'll get this party started. Me and DH were married in 1990 moved down 2 orlando a year later and got these babies


4 yrs later we had Emily and guess where we took her when she was 5 weeks old. MAGIC KINGDOM. I'll post pics later of that 1st I have to get the hubby to scan them

2 yrs later had Amy

And we had the annual passes every year

Then in 2001 we moved to south florida

in 04 got annual passes and took 5 vacations

then in nov 08 got season passes and came then

and now may 09

Ok sorrry to bore you just thought it was important let me start the TR before you leave me

Ok so we went May 21- 26 and stayed at the Dolphin

We live about 3 hours away.
So now lets go back in time to may 21st 2009
We were supposed to go the 21-26 then DH had to change it 20-25 then change it back and for the planner I am was a head ache. So I had the off and DDs went to school for a few hours I picked them up at 11:30 and pullled out of the driveway at 1:00 and at 3:55 pulled in here

seeing all those signs always puts me in aw. This is the part that we got lost we saw the huge Dolphie ( Thats What Emily called it when she was 2) (Our Family grew up hear) but somehow Dh made the wrong turn 1st we were at CBR then The Magic Kingdom toll then the Epcot toll finally I asked for directions and then were going the right way Finally we pulled into hear

Dh and amy parked while Emily and I checked in. Check in way a breeze and we are sheraton gold members so we got a balcony like I requested but no Epcot view.. But check out the view we had instead

Ok so where I left off we had just checked into our new home for the trip. Unpacked as fast as we can and headed to Hollywood Studios.

Heres me and Mitch waiting for the boat I can't find the one of the kids waiting for the boat

Next is everyone but Emily. (Shes the one who took the picture.) So we got in the park and then headed over to the Tip boards. Ofcourse they were out of FP for the kids favorate ride. Toy Story Mania and the wait was 180 minutes. TOT was only 13 minutes. So Amy and Mitch went on that. I get and Emily is afraid. (This changes later in the trip) Me and Emily went to the magic of Disney animation. We walked in through the giftshop the CMs don't care. We saw Minnie and Pluto were out together and the line was short so we hoped in and then a CM said they were leaving but Goofy and Max were coming out 2 minutes later so we waited for them.

I wanted to hop in too. Next we wanted to see the Up characters because they are so cute so. But the line was to long.
Instead we saw this guy who was all alone


I can't let her have all the fun now can I?
Dh and Amy were supposed to be done by now so we called them and Dh said they were still in line. Turns out it was 40 minutes. So Emily and I played the games and then went shopping. We didn't buy anything Just getting a feel of all the stuff we wanted. By then it was yucky out and drizzling. That's why theres no pics but in October we will definatly make up for it. (Read PTR in Seaggy)
Dh called and said they were down so we met up with the by TOT and then had dinner at the turkey leg stand. DH asked the CM for 2 cups pf water but instead she said "shhh" and gave us 2 bottles. What a nice lady. SO for dinner we split 2 salads and 2 turkey legs. Again sorry no pics because of the yucky weather but don't worry the camera comes back after this. Let me grab some from the internet


After AMAZING turkey legs we headed on over to the 7 pm american idol. Me and Dh arent big fans of the real show but we loved this ones. The kids are huge american idol fans and this show didn't disapoint them

Some pictures of the theater Disney made it look exactly like the real one right down to the cokes on the judge's table.


This was also the finale show so they had the some winners from the earlier shows and they all competed for the grand prize. Drum roll please THE DREAM FASTPASS. Again I don't watch the show so I asked the kids what they thought of the judges and Emily said they tried to hard to be exactly like the real ones. I forgot who won but they were all so good it was hard for to decide who to vote for.

Ok So after the show we went on the GMR sorry no pics but the camera was acting up and being goofy. Thankfully it was all better later on. By then it was pouring so we put on the ponchos and umbrellas and went on TSM now it was only a 30 minute wait but it went by quick looking at everything

Great start!! Looks like it started out to be a great trip!! We went 22-29 the rain was relentless. We are going back again next year, was thinking of checking into the Swan; we are down to Pop, POFQ, and the Swan. If we do not do the DDP than the Swan would go into the running .

Thanks so glad your enjoying it! And ya the rain sucked the 22 it rained from 2-5 and it really poured. The 23 only after dinner for a couple hours
24- it was hammering around dinner time for a while
25- just for a little while and of course the 26th the day we left it was all nice and sunny at least you were there to enjoy the weather. We should have meet up. Nice choices! On hotels.com Pop is 74$ a night and PO 100$ a night of course though if you wanted those prices I don't think you could get the dp. Correct me if I'm wrong we all love the swan and dolphin. Also if you have a starwood creditcard then for every dollar you spend you get a certain amount of points also if you stay at a starwood hotel. The Dolphin sheraton and the swan western. So we always stay at the swan and dolphin on our points. And there beautiful also great location. The boats are great but for bus ALL the epcot resorts SHARE 1 bus. Pop we stayed at a couple years ago and we wouldn't go to back to value for a couple of reasons. And the POR and POFQ we love. When we lived in orlando we always went over there to walk around. Also the foodcourts great with lots of choices.

O.K so I had the whole thing typed out just checking it over after I spent about an hour working on it and I leave for one minute. Guess what happens. Amy comes and goes of the dis
So know I'm starting all over. And I know my lesson about copying before you walk away. So today we have Handy Manny over that I wrote about him in either my PTR or Tr. He's painting the girl's bathroom and the master bathroom. Today is my grandmother's 100 birthday. If You live near cliffside park NJ then she might be on the news or newspaper I'll let you know. Also tonight the whole family is going to a marlins game.

O.K well back to the TR AGAIN.
We woke up to Mickey along with stitch at 7:30 had breakfast and got dressed and were at the bus stop by 8 40 a bus came in a few minutes later and we were in the park a few minutes after opening. . We have never been to a park at opening and it was great. Up Mainstreet they have CMs waving to you and wishing you a magical day with mickey gloves on. Also you have an empty park. First stop was Buzz. Walkon. I went with Amy and Dh went with Emily.

Mitch beat us all and got i think space ranger. After that we were heading to fantasyland and Amy wanted to go on the race cars but the wait was already 20 minutes so I was nice enough to let Dh take her on. Me and Emily went on Peter and Pooh. Both were walkon. I don't know why but I don't have any pictures before it's a small world but heres some from our thanksgiving 08 trip

After IASW we met up with Mitch and Amy at Haunted Mansion and went on with them. Walkon. I should tell you that they also went on Teacups. I think it was a 10 minute wait by I had the camera so no pictures

Incase your dopey thats splash mountain. The stand-by was 30 minutes and the fastpasses were good at 10 45 so we got 4 and then headed to pecos. Sorry no pictures from that I'll get some of the internet

This is pretty much what the crowds were like

Since when does Picos have touch screen? I don't remember what everyone had but we all liked it and we are for sure going back there.
When we were done eating it was drizzling so we decided to wait a few minutes and then went to the bear jamboree right as the show was starting.

When we got out of BJ it was just lightly raining a couple of drops so Mitch and the kids went on twice with the fastpasses. And I saw Frontier Donald. I don't know where the picture is. We met back up in some big giftshop either in frontier or adventure land. Not sure. This is when the monsoon started. So we were stuck in there. Mind you it was now getting really cold and the kids sweatshirts were wet from splash. We waited it out for a little while and then it lighted up a little. Not a lot but we didn't want to be stuck in that giftshop shoulder to shoulder to shoulder all day so we made a run for pirates. the way by Jc was flooded so we took an alternetive through Carpets. Standby for POTC was 10 minutes. We loved the ride like always. Then we headed back to Fantasyland. It was still monsooning. (made up word) And my socks were all wet and so was everything on everyone else. We did Philhar Magic. Heres some pics waiting. Oh ya it was a 15 minute wait.

O.K so the last place I left you guys was it was still monsooning and we had just done Philhar magic. It was 2 30. Next we went to Pinnochio's village and got 2 kids pizzas and chicken fingers to share. We also had a table with a small world view. Except that got ruined because there was this group of kids that were there on a field trip. No chaperone. Only about Amy's age. And they didn't have a table they were just standing up eating right on top of us. A couple of them were sitting on the floor a couple of inches from my feet. And they were very loud. Yelling at each other and they were dripping wet on our table. We were not happy. This woman at the table next to us told them people are eating here they should get another table. But they were very rude and said NO!. Heres where I get madder we had 3 55 Adrs at Crystal Palace that me and the kids were very excited about. But Dh said it's pouring, were wet, cold, and it's packed were leaving. . He said if it stoped raining we would go to pm EMH at Epcot. So I very sadly went over to the CP and cancelled. Then we went over to the busses. And waited 25 minutes for a bus. As soon we got back Dh showered and passed out. He's a big napper. Then the 3 of us took quick showers got dressed in warmer clothing because it was a lot colder. I bet you northers were thinking. "In Florida I don't need pants I don't even need a swearshirt. That's why a lot of people were wearing disney world pants and sweatshirts. Then we went downstairs to explore. We went to Daisy's garden and the Amy got a minnie pin and Emily got a nemo kookie pen. We also went to the swan and played some games in the dolphin arcade. Also booked the kids for the next night at camp dolphin. Sorry no pics but the battery was charging. Then we went back upstairs. And it stopped raining!

Heres the weather man delivering the sad news about the weather.
Dh got up we all got ready and then headed downstairs to the fountain for dinner. The fountain is great it's a great place if you want a sit down with counter service prices. Amy had grilled cheese. I had salman. SP. Mitch had some tuna thing. And Emily had a burger. We left full and happy towards epcot. We couldn't take the boat because DH wouldn't listen to me and had to buy a sweatshirt. So we went in the boardwalk giftshops

When we got to International gateway Amy's season pass decided to give us a hard time. First she used Emily's. So everyone was in and Emily had to use Amy's since Dh took of with Emily's Amy's pass wouldn't work and they had to make a new one. Which they couldn't do at international gateway so the CM took of with the ticket for 10 minutes to go make a new one. So by the time we were all fixed it was 7 50 so we walked through the world showcase. I walked around in China. While the other 3 went on Figment

They then played around in imageworks and I went to Norway. Then at 20 till we met up at Mexico for Illuminations. There were no tables but a nice lady said there family could share a bench and we could have the other. After Illuminations EMH had started so we went back to Future world and did nemo which was a 5 minute wait and that means. WALK THROUGH OUR HUGEEEEE LINE!. Also I overheard the Cms that were checking KTWCs say 'I hate when they stick it up right in front of my nose' 'I know i'm like hello I can see it you dont have to stick it up my mouth' 'There like this and took his nametag and stuck it on her face' Hello theres people here and you have to be magical so shut up and do your job. Happily

Hiii!!
Hope everyone had a great day. I'd love to hear all about it. I don't know why but I love hearing about everyone's day. Today as I said before we had Handy Manny come over and do some jobs including painting 2 bathrooms. I also spoke to my grandmother since today since its her 100th bday and Emily said do you know how old you are? "50" No my dad's 50 your 100 'No im not that old I must be 75. Tonight we went to a marlin's game they won 7-2. Hopefully I'll have the pictures up by wednesday the latest. Tomorrow is going to be a relaxing day after running around all week. I'm going to lay outside by the pool on the lounger with my feet up and watch the kids swim. (While DH cooks dinner and goes to Walmart I can dream right?

O.K well back to the TR it was such a long walk back to ING and I thought my legs were going to fall of. I recommend going the Japan way it's much MUCH shorter.
