Since you booked through a TA...do you have your resort/package confirmation #? I read here the other day about someone trying to do the same thing but needed a confirmation #. You may have to contact your TA & get it. It really doesn't matter if you do it online-I guess it's supposed to save time. You won't get any info as far as room location or number-you will get the package when you arrive at the resort. Have a great trip...we'll be there in 8 days!!

If a TA made your reservation they own the reservation. To do online check in, your travel agent needs to send you a link. Any paperwork from the resort goes to the TA and should be forwarded to you.
The ME tags come right from Disney to you. You should get a resort packet from your TA. If you don't, it's no big deal, just show ID at the resort and you're in. I opted not to use online check in, my TA said "I personally would just check in with a human. As you said a better chance for possibly getting upgraded".

Here is my story. I made my reservation through a TA at AAA. A few weeks ago, my documents arrived and I got them at the TA's office. On the documents was my reservation number. Yesterday was my 10 day mark so that I could check in online. I did and didn't have any problems. The only thing that didn't work was the area where it said something like "room request". I got around that today - 9 days away and called the GF and requested my room directly. My TA also put on my reservation that same room request.
Now let's see if it all works once I actually get there!
