Blue Lagoon on Own or Through DCL?

I am trying to decide whether to keep our current Atlantis plan that we booked through Comfort Suites or skip & do Blue Lagoon. This is our 1st cruise and 1st trip to Bahamas so want to make right choice. Looking for opinions. I see that you can book Blue Lagoon through DCL at more cost but what I don't get is that being just a Dolphin observer is a separate cost on DCL but through Blue Lagoon direct it is included in the beach day:

Any help would be appreciated. I have 14 days until our cruise!!
