mini BLT/BWV trip report

we are at the BWV now, having spent Wed - Sat at BLT. Some BLT observations - we had a studio LV on the 11th floor, facing the marina. Loved the view, could see Epcot fireworks straight ahead, and of course the Electric Water Parade. 10 minute walk to MK can't be beat - went 5 times during our short stay. Fireworks viewing from Top/Lounge was awesome - why go into the part when you can practically touch them with millions less people around? Questioned the access to the Lounge - both DH and I had to present our BLT keys showing we were members. Anyone staying with you would be allowed to go as their key would also show them as members. No access currently even if you are a member but staying elsewhere, was told to check on future stays as that may change. Some room observations - love the clean line decor and or course everything was brand new so condition was not a problem. Small, would be tight for 4 adults staying longer than a few days. Was weird having to exit the bathroom to wash your hands, didn't care for that or doing hair in the "kitchen" area, always did it in the sleeping area - but that's me. The storage in the kitchen/bath area is ingenious - plenty!! I noted some small things that you old time Disney visitors will relate too - it appeared that the bedskirt and window curtains were just taken out of bags and hung - creases and wrinkles still there. The mirror hanging across from the couch was framed in about 6 inch wide metal of some type, which still had handprints where is was obviously held while being hung. The room also did not have any sheer curtains, just the heavy curtains, and the sheers would make a nice addition for filtering light. We like to keep the sheers closed at night, but the curtains open so the AM sun is filtered in. It was awesome. Moved to BWV Sat at 12:30 and room was ready, luggage arrived 30 minutes later, room in good shape (studio facing village green). More to come, off to the pool.

Are we still trying to figure out the "big project?"
The answers are probably right in front of us

Sounds wonderful! Glad you enjoyed it!

Is your BWV room one of the renovated ones by chance?

Thanks for your trip report - sounds like you had a great time.
We'll be checking in to our LV studio at BLT 6 weeks from today - can hardly wait!

Sometimes has Dory moments!
I have two brothers and either of them would have been proud to be suspended for stinking up the bus

Thanks for the great report. We are checking in to our LV Studio on Sept 26. Reading the reports has really made me anxious to get there! Can't wait to see the fireworks from the lounge. It will make a great change from being packed in with other people in front of the castle!
