Minnie Mouse Birthday Party
Didn't know where else to post this!
My almost 4 year old daughter has requested a Minnie Mouse Birthday Party for her 4th birthday. We like to go all out with b-day themes at our house. Anyone have cake ideas? game ideas? etc. for birthday parties you've seen and/or done w/Minnie Mouse in the past? Thanks in advance! Conveniently, 2 weeks after her birthday we're heading to Disney to meet Minnie Mouse herself. DD couldn't have selected a better theme for this year.

My DD had a minnie mouse/mickey mouse clubhouse b-day when she turned 3. We had just a family party for her. They did have a minnie cake mold at the local cake place. Instead (because I am no good with icing) bought a mickey mouse themed cake from the grocery bakery. I had bought one of those character sets from disney store in mickey mouse clubhouse and took out the minnie and mickey figures and put them on top of the cake. We had "hot dog" (s) per the clubhouse theme song and our grocery store has mickey head shaped hamburgers so we had those as well. We also had the clubhouse cd playing for background music and of course the party store decorations I got in mickey mouse clubhouse.

Those nails are adorable, only most of the guests at my daughter's 2nd birthday party (Minnie themed) are boys. Probably wouldn't go over too well! She's loves Minnie but wants all of the main guys on her cake including Pete and Professor Von Drake. We had to go to the bakery with pictures of the gang and then the additional two. I'm sure the people at the bakery think we're nuts, we did the same thing with our 3 year old daughter's cake for Bolt: http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k2...4/DSC01621.jpg
Anyway, I searched all the website and purchased all kinds of Minnie Mouse stuff for favors (seperately, I didn't care for the pre-made favors). No real need for games since the party is at one of those inflatable jump places. Last edited by Beaker74; 08-08-2009 at 11:35 PM. Reason: added |

I would be tempted to use the episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse where the gang threw Minnie a surprise birthday party. You could have the kids watch that episode, then play games based on the things they did in that episode. Like they sent Minnie out to pick strawberries so they could plan the surprise party, you could serve strawberries. I remember there being a baby elephant that they used to blow up balloons and you could have the kids play that fun game Elefun to go along with that. Donald used a jump rope to help delay Minnie, so you could have the kids play jump rope. I am thinking 4 year olds might be too young to actually play jump rope since I know my older daughter didn't actually get the idea until she was in kindergarten, though, so maybe they could play tug-o-war with the "jump rope". Then you could have everyone practice their "hot dog" dance to the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse CD.
For the cake you could have a pink cake with white polka dots.
