Which ride is easier for chickens? EE or RNR?

I've been on EE, but I always chicken out of RnR. It's just that talk of g forces and inversions scare me

How'd you compare both rides?

They won't even let you bring a chicken into the park. It's probably cruel to put them on either ride anyway.

Well ... by most rollercoaster standards, I'm a chicken. I've been on EE and would go again. I've not yet been able to convince myself to go on RNR. That said, my sister, who is an even bigger chicken than me has been on both EE and RNR and preferred RNR. EE goes backwards ... which surprisingly didn't bug me too much. RNR has loops I think.

RnR is way more of a thrill coaster than EE. My wife was scared of it, untill I forced her on to it , she now likes the ride. EE is half way between RnR and BT

They are both very different. I would say that EE is the 'easier' one, especially if you don't like going upside down in the dark. The linear induction of RnR is very neat, however, and I look at it like this: I have been 60 mph in a car before, I can handle 0-60 miles per hour in an roller coaster. RNR is very well themed, so you are very immersed in the ride, and don't notice the g forces as much. It is also a very fast ride.

I like RNR better, overall.

My mom loves RnR and hates EE because the backwards drop makes her feel sick.

RnR does have inversions, but they're not scary at all. I didn't even notice them. The ride up to the top of EE was way scarier than all of RnR for me

Respectfully, I disagree. IMHO RNR is a much wilder ride. However it is also a smooth and very fun ride and I believe once riden it will be a new favorite. Eventually the OP will ride it and find it to be another Disney hit.

I hate coasters that go up high and loop. but for some reason RNR is really fun. I guess beacuse its in the dark and you really feel it more then see it

EE is easier for me

I am no fan of big drops and the intial launch on RNR feels like a huge drop and I feel just awful for the entire ride b/c of it. I then feel horrible for hours after. I rode it twice and never again. I have no issue with rollercoasters at all and LOVE them all. But RNR messes my equilibrium up for hours.

EE is an amazing, fun, exciting ride and I never feel the least bit sick or funky after. I'd go for EE.

#1 Chicken's 2 cents here...

Let me preface this with...I will not go on ToT nor would you get me to go on any Six Flags like intense roller coasters...I do not like big drops...okay even Splash Mtn is tough for me

It took me until our 5th trip to Disney to get up the nerve (er...be shamed into it by my kids and husband ) to go on Rock n Roller Coaster--the whole inversion thing did not appeal to me.

I LOVE it!!! I missed all that fun all those trips!! the inversion is not even really an inversion in my opinion. It is just a fast ride really...very fun!

Now Expedition Everest, for whatever reason, I never hesitated to go on and now comparing the two, I think that EE is more intense with the suspense of waiting to go backwards.

Leaving for our 6th family Disney trip next Saturday...and told my husband that I can't wait for RnR! He mentioned ToT...no way!!

Do you go on ToT?

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the comparisons, I think I'll try on my upcoming trip!

I'm scared, but reading that it's smooth is a big help. I dislike jerky rides

I've been on TOT twice. Wouldn't count it as a favorite ride.

I hope I get the nerve to try RnR, and that I end up LOVING it

I love roller coasters and EE freaked me out

RnR was no problem. A little intense on the takeoff, but that was it!

EE was not scary at all, but the going backwards part made me very dizzy. RnR was too much for me. In my younger day it wouild be no problem, but that take off was too much for me and at one point I thought I was going to pass out.

I have high blood pressure and I found that the 0 to 60 takeoffs that a lot of these coasters are doing now aggrevates my condition.

EE was very smooth and mild to me, but I wish I could tolerate the backwards part.

Having said all that, I might not be a good person to give advice. I'm 45 now and my body changed big time. On my last trip, even Space Mountain made me feel a little funny and when I was young, I could do Space Mountain all day withoiut any problems, so with me, it is not a scary thing, it is what my body won't let me do any longer. Sad to get old.

I'm still a thirll junkie so my new favoriate is the Summit Plummit in Blizzard Beach. Surprisingly, other then a super wedgie, I can tolerate that one great. I just wish the line was shorter.

You know, it's only a few minutes long. If it freaks you out, then you'll know not to go on it again. I say suck it up and give things a shot! I skipped RnR on my very first trip to WDW because I was too chicken and rode it on the next trip and LOVED IT! I was smacking myself for ever skipping it, especially when it was closed on our third trip!
