On second thought, let's not go to Camelot. It is a silly place.

Upgrade from Studio Villa at WL
What are the chances if, when I check in on Sept 15th, I ask for a free upgrade to a 1BR villa? Just wondering...

You can always ask, but since the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge is the smallest of all DVC resorts, the chances of a one bedroom being available for the dates that you are there would be slim.
Good luck, Robert

If you are staying on points, there are no upgrades. You get what you reserve. If you are paying Disney through DRC, it might be possible, but not very probable.
Like Robert said, it's a very small resort and usually booked by DVC members.

OKW and VWL Homes Yellowstone was amazing and is a lot more inviting than Disney right now. Could we be selling it all in the near future? Maybe. |

I agree. In most cases when using your points there are no upgrades. But, a few years ago I made a reservations using my DVC points at Hilton Head for a one bedroom for 5 day vacation. When we checked in, they gave us a two bedroom. Lots of beds for 2 people!

That's what I figured, but I guess it never hurts to ask. I'll be perfectly happy with a studio villa. Even though we've never stayed in one, I hear they're great. Just 2 adults and our 9-year old. Just need a place to eat, have breakfast and sleep.
