I sometimes see boo's and other times they are the little red "x" marks. I think it depends on who you used to upload the image. I always use imageshack.us and it turns out fine. If you did use imageshack and are still getting "x" in your signature, you might have to upload it again.

I want to thank Melody for the Boo but I can't fit it in my signature

Afternoon all my friends and big ((hugs)) to all! Deb have a BLAST tonight at the concert!

The verdict is still out if I am going to make it Monday night. I SOOOO want to go. You will have to tell me how it was although I KNOW it is going to be awesome. Some extra pixie dust would be great that I can go cuz I SO want to. We have had these tix for over 6 months and I would be SO dissapointed if I missed it. I have missed so much this last week and I would hate to miss that.

Capri girl I am excited for you! Have a BLAST! I will be thinking of you and wishing I was there!

Mel I got your pumpkin and put it in my siggie but it won't show up so oh well. But thanks so much for the thought!! Very sweet of you!

The girls didn't do so hot in their tournament. They lost 2 out of 3 games. But hopefully they will do better in two weeks at their first real games.

The whole group just left for the bbq so I am home by myself again. Oh well more rest for me I guess.

No, really I can.

Kelly: Oh man, that would suck if you missed the concert. Here's lots of extra pixie dust for you so you can go and have a great time!

I can't see Courtney's either.

Kelly take it easy. I just got back from my doctor who informed me that I am sicker than I think, that I had to go straight to bed and stay home for three days! Sheesh.

So I'm going to bed now.... I'll try to post my boo later... (it's so cute).

Amen to that, and to all of you sweet ladies!

We are back from U of O. Apparently the person making our appointment misunderstood me and did not make us an appointment with an academic advisor, but had us meet with an admissions advisor who really wasn't able to address our specific questions and concerns about classes. But we did get some information and phone numbers of people who can answer our questions. We were able to find the house Bryan wanted to check out and it just happened that the students were arriving today so we were able to look around. He really wants to live there and they only have a few openings so he will be getting his application in as soon as it is available in about a month.

The important thing though is that I found my tie-dye shirt! Green and yellow (school colors) with a big Oregon Duck (Donald of course). Just the kind of thing I was looking for.

Carol, that's a drag about the mix up and the University. Oye. But excellent news about the tie dye tee! Yes, we had a hugfest earlier, you're not too late.

HOwdy again ladies!

Well today was quite a day here.

Dave entered in a BBQ cook off. His first one ever! He loves to BBQ all kinds of stuff, and I love it, cuz it is one less thing for me to cook.

2 years ago, we took a trip to Texas for business reasons and pleasure. One of the things he really wanted to do was find one of those roadside BBQs that serve up brisket. Well we found one, and was sold on it. We came home and the first thing he did was try to find a brisket. They are not a hot commodity in California. We have tri-tip, but finding brisket is not easy. Finally found some at Smart and Final, which is like a small warehouse wholesale store. He read up all the he could on it, and the rest is history!

Anywhos, he entered his brisket that he has been perfecting, and he won first place for beef!! Woo hoo!! There were about 12 or so entrees in that catagory. So that was pretty cool. It was a fun event, but not something he'd want to do all the time. There were some guys there that had beef, chicken and pork all on the barbe! These are the ones that love to go to somewhere once month. Yikes.........that is quite a commitment.

Oh and I sewed up some aprons for us to wear. Really cute vintage style Route 66 logos all over it.

So that was my day. I'm tired and stickey!!! It was so hot here today, and to be around all of those big hot grills was torture! We were all melting.

I'm off to shower, (Isn't that nice of me), and to bed.

NIght....zzzzzzzzzzzzz

That is SO awesome! I love watching all those BBQ cooking competitions on Food Network--and now I sorta know someone like that! (Well, at least I know his wife!)

Did you have to take your own grill or did they provide them? did he do a dry rub or a sauce? Does he cook it well or is it pink in the middle?

Details--we need details.

But, it can wait till tomorrow--nighty night!
