I read that you should copy the numbers on the back of your ticket incase you loose them. But I'm looking at the back of my tikets and don't see any numbers????

Could it be that you may have mistaken what you read? I have heard of people taking pictures of their PHOTOPASS cards, so incase you lose them you still have the code to key into your computer when you get home and can access you photopass photos. I am not sure that I ever heard of doing this with you actual park tickets. But I may be wrong...perhaps someone will be able to help you little more than me.

Do you have a key to the world card? In that case - it will be on the front.

You aren't going to find any thing like a serial number.
I think cheshire figment's sticky explains it. Its a combination of the date, the station number and then a sequential number starting at one for that day. |

If you're carrying a digital camera with you, you might want to just snap a nice clear photo.

I generally recommend a photocopy, but anything bearing the ticket ID string should be valid.
In general, I believe all ticket IDs takes the form of: AAA:XXX MM/DD/YY TR X The "AAA" is a location ID - generally where you got the ticket from. For instance, WAK is "WDW Animal Kingdom". The final "X" could be multiple digits. KTTW cards are very different though...
